In addition to the trek itself travelers will also enjoy visiting with the local river people (Caboclos).

DAY 07 The group reaches the Jaraqui River after trekking from the Cuieiras River. One of our motorboats will meet the group and bring them back down the Negro River to Manaus and for a visit to the famous "meting of the waters" (Amazon x Negro) and nearby Lake Januauri to see giant Amazon waterlilies before the end of the day. Overnight at the Hotel Brasil

DAY 08 Transfer OUT to airport for departure

The jungle portion of the tours are "all inclusive" w/ transport, English speaking jungle guide and porters, all meals, mineral water. Breakfasts are the only meals included while at Manaus hotel.

Breakfast and lunch each day will be prepared in camp and lunch will be eaten during the trek. On the first and last days we will prepare lunch in a local Caboclo home.

Note: rainforest trekking is not "a walk in the park", it requires adequate physical conditioning. In the rainforest it can be hot, sticky and humid during the day and, depending on the session, the temperature at night can drop to 20 degrees Celsius.

Our jungle guides are professional and experienced. On tour they will be working to show travellers medical plants and spot wildlife.

We offer quality products, value for your money, safety and professionalism. Our highest priority is the safety and well-being of our customers during their rainforest tour and to give travellers an unforgettable experience in the Brazilian Amazon.
