Suggested Packages

We can customize any type of package for you. If you are going to several different places, it's usually cheaper to get a TAM Airlines airpass (from about $530, depending on the number of flights and your international carrier) for the domestic flights . Below are some sample packages with land only prices (no flights included), made by adding together suggested packages from various areas. These can be modified to suit your needs. For instance, if you prefer to use a different jungle or Pantanal lodge, we can switch. Since the various lodges have different costs, this will affect the package cost. Or we can add other places such as Brasilia, Bonito, Recife, Natal, etc. Just let us know what you want to do and we can propose a package for you - we are very flexible..

Prices are subject to change because it is hard to keep up with the currency fluctuations.

We can get discounted air quotes for passengers departing from the U.S., but for others, it's normally cheaper if you buy your air tickets locally.

Among these 4 stops we have one that has become essential, due to tourist wishes, the Ilha Comprida which is known as a natural aquarium of fishes, which surround the boat and the people dive in, it is perfect to take pictures. All the boats offer security and comfort; beyond that, they have a good restaurant with option of fish or chicken, to make your tour more enjoyable. Francisco (U$ 1.00 entrance fee not included) with its exuberant gold-leafed Baroque interior and the Pelourinho Square, the heart of the old town. SURF LESSONS - Surfing is a very popular sport in Rio, coming right below soccer which is the favorite national sport. The long coast offers wonderful areas for surfing, with many beach breaks providing ideal conditions for easy and safe learning. The best beaches are Barra da Tijuca, Prainha and Grumari, on the West zone. No previous experience is required. Hotelpick-up/drop-off and fun board rental are included. We have the best instructors in town, and they are prepared either to teach beginners or assist experienced surfers. Half Day

Day 3 - breakfast, then hike up Sugarloaf. This dramatic granite rock is a well-known Rio landmark, and also an over-explored tourist attraction. Instead of standing in line to ride the aerial cable car with dozens of visitors, why not to try the unique experience of reaching the summit on your own feet? We start strolling along a beautiful shoreline pedestrian path, then hike up a trail (Half hour walking to the beginning of the trail and 2 hours hiking up) with wonderful views of Rio's bay and finally face a short (80 ft.) but challenging rock-climb. On the way down we take the cable car. Then we do some kayaking. Ocean kayaking is one of the best ways to explore Rio's beautiful coast and enjoy unique views of the city and its forested mountains. We start the trip at Praia Vermelha, where the Sugar Loaf Mountain is located, and paddle for one hour to the Cotunduba Island, a few miles off-shore. There we stop for snacks, swimming and snorkeling, seeing the beauty of Rio from a totally different viewpoint. Back at the beach we shower and change at the Kayak Base.
