Packages / Rio area / Amazon
/ Pantanal / Iguassu
Suggested PackagesWe can customize any type of package for you. If you are going to several different places, it's usually cheaper to get a TAM Airlines airpass (from about $530, depending on the number of flights and your international carrier) for the domestic flights . Below are some sample packages with land only prices (no flights included), made by adding together suggested packages from various areas. These can be modified to suit your needs. For instance, if you prefer to use a different jungle or Pantanal lodge, we can switch. Since the various lodges have different costs, this will affect the package cost. Or we can add other places such as Brasilia, Bonito, Recife, Natal, etc. Just let us know what you want to do. Prices are subject to change because it is hard to keep up with the currency fluctuations. We can get discounted air quotes for passengers departing from the U.S., but for others, it's normally cheaper if you buy your air tickets locally.
Rio + Buzios
Day 2 - breakfast, then ride by train through the Tijuca Forest to the top of Corcovado mountain. The Corcovado lookout is 709 meters above sea level. From here the visitor can see nearly the entire city of Rio. Also located here is the Christ the Redeemer statue, 38 meters high. Return to the hotel by Rio's southern beaches. Dinner at a typical Brazilian barbecue restaurant followed by a lively samba and folklore show. After collecting passengers at their hotels, the first stop is for dinner at an excellent barbecue restaurant where a succulent choice of meats is brought to the table on long spits. Then on to a wonderful, colorful, lively Brazilian variety show at the Plataforma 1. Afterwards, passengers are returned to their hotels.
Day 4 - breakfast, then schooner cruise. Paraty has 65 islands and many beaches of uncommon beauty. It is surrounded by exuberant vegetation that makes it a quiet and unbelievable place to stay. The waters are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Traditional tour with different routes for each day of week, it has four stops with about 40 minutes in each place, being one of them for lunch (la carte) aboard (optional). At these stops it is possible to dive with mask and snorkel for this we can do in clear and warm water. Among these 4 stops we have one that has become essential, due to tourist wishes, the Ilha Comprida which is known as a natural aquarium of fishes, which surround the boat and the people dive in, it is perfect to take pictures. All the boats offer security and comfort; beyond that, they have a good restaurant with option of fish or chicken, to make your tour more enjoyable. The tour includes tropical fruits, mask and snorkel. As with all of our other tours they come highly recommended by the "Lonely Planet" Guide to Brazil.
or The "Trindade" minibus 6 hour tour
which takes you to the charming little fishing village. On the trip it
visits four beaches and a natural swimming pool - "Caixa d'Aço".
Firstly we travel to the beach near the village "Ranchos" and
take a guided trek before arriving at the swimming pool. This trip takes
forty minutes and on it we pass through beautiful natural mountain florests
and glades. At Caixa d'Aço you can snorkel and swim in the crystal
clear water if you wish. After this we travel to the main village of Trindade
where we eat lunch (not included in the price). Included in the price
are diving masks. Sample 2008 Price per person in US$ for
