Adventure in Ceara

The beautiful beaches and strongly shining sun throughout the year makes this a perfect schedule for the four seasons. There are eight days of dazzling landscapes on the sea-shore in a comfortable air conditioned Hilux. From Fortaleza to Canoa Quebrada and Jericoacoara the trip is pure emotion from beginning to end. Canoa Quebrada, Morro Branco, Porto das Dunas, Lagoinha, and more than 20 beaches throughout all the stretch with stops for enjoying the Northeastern waves.

1st day: Fortaleza
Arrival in Fortaleza, transfer to Iate Plaza Flat, situated on the sea-shore in Mucuripe. The rest of the day is free.

2nd day: "Costa do Sol Nascente" - From Fortaleza to Canoa Quebrada
An one day trip along the beaches of "Costa do Sol Nascente". We leave a 8 am. by Landrover Defender, driving through the beaches of the "Costa do Sol Nascente", such as "Porto das Dunas", "Morro Branco", "Prova das Fontes", "Barra do Sucatinga", "Praia dos Anjos"and finally Canoa Quebrada. In the afternoon, we return to Fortaleza on a road covered with asphalt - and arrive at about 6 pm.

3rd day: "Costa do Sol Poente"- From Fortaleza to Jericoacoara
At 8 am. we leave Fortaleza by Landrover Defender towards Jericoacoara, travelling on the beach along the sea. We pass more than 18 beaches as well as dunes, lagoons, groves of coconut palms and river bars; some of the beaches we pass, are called "Cumbuco", "Pecem", "Taiba", "Paracuru", "Lagoinha" and "Fleixeiras". Late in the afternoon we arrive at Jericoacoara and spend the night at the "Pousada".

4th day: Jericoacoara - "Blue" And "Paradise" Lagoons
After having visited the village of Jeri, we take a trip by buggy to the Blue and Paradise lagoons. We admire the yet virgin "Blue" lagoon with its blue waters and the "Paradise" lagoon with its charming "pousadas" along its shores. We walk across its sands and swim in its delicious waters. In the afternoon we return to Jeri, crossing the dunes, which in itself, is a wonderful sensation. We arrive in Jeri just in time to watch the sunset from the peak of the principal dune of the village; really an unique and impressive sun-set.

5th day: Jericoacoara - Pedra Furada
We take a walk along the beach until we reach "Pedra Furada" next to the sea. The rest of the day is free, so that we may enjoy the beaches, the delicious sea and Jeri.

6th day: Jericoacoara- Fortaleza
The morning is free. At 1pm. We leave Fortaleza by Landrover Defender 110 on an asphalt road. We are due to arrive in Fortaleza at about 6 pm. We spend the night at the Iate Plaza Flat.

7th day: Fortaleza
The day is free.

8th day: Fortaleza
The morning is free. In the afternoon transfer to airport. Departure.
