Here we offer various ways to visit beautiful beach paradises south of Salvador over a 9 day period. From deluxe
accommodations to simple pousadas, from private transfers to regular group or bus transfers, the choice is yours.

DIAMOND

DAY 1: Salvador – Ilheus – Itacaré
Presentation at the airport to embark in regular flight to the city of Ilheus, in South of Bahia. Upon arrival, transfer to Itacaré, passing by downtown Ilheus to see the Cocoa capital and the birthplace of the wellknown writer Jorge Amado. Continuing, we take the ecological road till Serra Grande beach. Our lodge will be at a local deluxe resort, with bangalows near the beach. Dinner. Overnight. Ovn; dinner.

DAY 2: Itacaré
Day at leisure to explore this paradise surrounded by Atlantic Forest. Options for Rafting, horseback riding, trekking, boat tour can be arranged at the lodge. Bkf; ovn; dinner

DAY 3: Itacaré – Marau Peninsula
After breakfast, our journey continue by car passing by the city Itacaré, and reaching the local ferry boat. We cross the Contas river to the Marau Penynsula. Then, off road transfer along the coastline, passing by wild beaches and lagoons until your lodge (2 nights; bkf; ovn);

DAY 4: Marau Peninsula
Leisure day. Enjoy great unspoiled beaches and the natural pool at the reefs of Taipus de Fora. As the tides move out, the inshore reef and its natural hollows form small pools where water is trapped. In them and along the exposed reef there are many sea creatures, hiding under rocks or swimming in the pools. Good for snorkeling. Bkf; Ovn.

DAY 5: Marau Peninsula – Barra Grande – Camamu - Boipeba
We leave the lodge in the early morning – car transfer towards the local pier in Barra Grande. Private speed boat for a 40min crossing the Camamu bay (3rd largest in the country) enjoy a nice view. Arrive at Camamu, one of Brazils oldest cities – 1565 - and was originally a Tupiniquins Indian village. It became the second most important city of Bahia and the countries main exporter for manioc flour at the time. We now proceed by car to Cairu pier to embark on a private motor canoe to cross the Inferno river and reach the Boipeba island - home to a dense Atlantic forest, and with its salt marshes, sand dunes, extensive mangroves, and paradisiacal coconut-palmed beaches and reefs - Here, we have help with baggage on our walking transfer to local lodge. DAY 6: Boipeba Island
Leisure day. Enjoy the beaches on this tropical site. We suggest a walk to Moreré beach and lunch at Mar e Coco Restaurant (good food). Bkf; dinner; Ovn

DAY 7: Boipeba Island – Morro de Sao Paulo
In the morning, private boat transfer to the lively and charming village of Morro de Sao Paulo, in Tinharé island. A place with an intense nightlife and paradisaical beaches. After staying in a very remote and isolated island, it is time to see some crowd. Stay in a local resort on a beach away from the village, in the middle of a coconut farm. Dinner. Ovn; Bkf; dinner.

DAY 8: Morro de São Paulo
Leisure day to explore the Village, option for horseback ride or just relax. Dinner at the hotel. Bkf; dinner; Ovn.

DAY 9: Morro de São Paulo - Salvador
Departure on local flight (time to be confirmed) to Salvador, arrival and flight to your next destination. End of package.

FREEDOM

DAY 1: Salvador – Ilheus – Itacaré
Transfer either from hotel or airport to bus station in Salvador. 7 hours trip to Ilheus. Upon arrival, meet assistance at the local bus station and depart to Itacaré, passing by downtown Ilheus to see the cocoa capital and the birthplace of the well known writer Jorge Amado. Continuing, we go back to the local bus station to embark on the next bus to Itacare city. (every hour bus) and it lasts 1:30min through the ecological road. Upon arrival in Itacare, meet assistance to a local pousada. Overnight.

DAY 2: Itacaré
Day at leisure to explore this paradise surrounded by Atlantic Forest. Ovn

DAY 3: Itacaré – Marau Peninsula
After breakfast, our journey continue by car passing by the city Itacaré, and reaching the local ferry boat. We cross the Contas river to the Marau Penynsula. Then, off road transfer along the coastline, passing by wild beaches and lagoons until the local pousada in the village of Barra Grande, where we’ll lodge for 2 nights.

DAY 4: Barra Grande in Marau Peninsula
Leisure day. Walking around and maybe taking some optional tours. Ovn.

DAY 5: Marau Peninsula – Barra Grande – Camamu - Boipeba
We leave the local pousada in the early morning – car transfer towards the local pier in Barra Grande. Regular speed boat for a 40min crossing the Camamu bay (3rd largest in the country) enjoy a nice view. Arrive at Camamu, one of Brazils oldest cities – from 1565 - and was originally a Tupiniquins Indian village. In the afternoon, you will take a tour boat to transfer to the lively and charming village of Morro de Sao Paulo, in Tinharé island. A place with an intense nightlife and paradisaical beaches. After staying in a very remote and isolated island, it is time to see some crowd. Stay in a local lodge on a beach away from the village, in the middle of a coconut farm. Dinner free. Ovn; Bkf.
