Once there, transfer by land to Sierpe River followed by a boat ride to Casa Corcovado Lodge located in the Osa Peninsula next to Corcovado Nationa Park. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities or explore the private reserve of the hotel. Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge

The hotel is next to the Corcovado National Park - a short distance from the ocean - and is surrounded by virgin rainforest and fruit trees attracting birds, monkeys and other animals. There are 6 deluxe bungalows, 4 Junior Suites, and 4 Honeymoon Suites, all with a private bathroom, hot water and ceiling fans. The restaurant offers interesting meals, Nouvelle Costa Rican cuisine (elegantly served), an observatory bar, and two swimming pools. There is also a reception center in Sierpe “La Hacienda” (an hour from the hotel) where the guests arrive. This property has bathrooms and offers guests a welcome cocktail. Since it is in a very remote region of the country, access requires a combination of ground, air and boat transportation. The entire journey lasts around 4 hours.

The lodge is surrounded by lush vegetation, and supplied by mountain spring water. Electricity is provided 24 hours a day by hydroelectric power and a solar system. Activities at Casa Corcovado include: snorkeling at the Caño Island, guided tours to Corcovado National Park (where there is a beautiful little waterfall), Sporfishing, Horseback riding, kayaks, birdwathching and diving tours (PADI diver’s license required).

Excellent option for nature lovers seeking a top service option in the heart of the jungle. The scenery is among the most beautiful in the country, with dense vegetation and a crystal-clear ocean. A very romantic place - ideal for couples.

You will have the chance to take a nice hike along the trails of the private reserve and discover the beauty of this natural ecosystem. Villa Blanca

The hotel was built to generate the revenue needed to protect the Los Angeles Cloud Forest. Thus the conservation of nature and Costa Rican traditions has been the hotel’s “raison d’etre”. Because Villa Blanca was conceived as a nature conservation project, visitors will marvel at the power of its natural surroundings.

Its charming design is reminiscent of the small Costa Rican towns of the 19th century. It features 35 spacious bungalows or Casitas all built and decorated in the best folklore tradition, with a cozy fireplace for the cool comfortable nights that characterize the region’s tropical cloud forest. The rooms are divided into Deluxe, Superior, and Honeymoon options. All rooms include private bathroom, hot water, mini-bar, safety deposit box, satellite TV, telephone, and wireless internet access, a/c, and hairdryer. The Honeymoon Suites and Deluxe rooms also offer a Jacuzzi and a garden terrace.

To top it off, Villablanca's cooking incorporates all the native elements of the different regions within Costa Rica. People who have an interest in nature and the conservation process will have the opportunity to turn their visit into an educational experience. The hotel services include a formal dining area, lounge bar, game & T.V. room, conference room, gift shop, massage and therapeutic treatment Spa, Internet café, Multimedia DTS/DVD Private Theatre art gallery, bird watching platforms, laundry and parking area. * Private Transfers Alternative: A private driver will pick up the clients directly at the hotel and will take them to the next destination. The schedules can be flexible (unless they have to connect with other transfers or be in a certain place at a specific moment) and they do not have to wait for other clients, since this is a private service.

**Rental Car Alternative: Renting a car is a convenient way to move around the country as it gives you the freedom to explore at will. Our preferred car rental companies offer a complete list of services, including a modern fleet of vehicles and pick-up and drop-off services in San José as well as in the main tourist destinations. We would recommend a 4WD whenever possible and depending on the places you wish to visit, as they are more robust vehicles and a more reliable option for difficult roads. The rate provided does not include the Mandatory Insurance (USD 18.00 per day of rent). Clients will pick up the vehicle (Daihatsu Bego 4x4) on Day 04 and return it on Day 10.
