Lodges in the upper Napo Rivers

The rainforest area around Puyo, Misahualli, Tena & Ahuano is less primitive and remote than other areas listed, however it offers easy road access and several flexible jungle and adventure alternatives. The Huaorani Ecolodge is more remote because it also involves a flight.

Due to the presence of new cases of Yellow Fever in Brasil, Paraguay and Argentina, the Ecuadorian Ministry or Public Health is requesting that all passengers who will visit the Amazonian provinces of Ecuador get the vaccine and the correspondent certification. This action was taken as a preventive measure in order to protect our guests, as there are no new cases of this disease in Ecuador. Travelers without vaccine certification are not allowed to board the planes.

Trip was wonderful. All connections went well, accommodations were great. We really loved Napo Wildlife center....a great choice for the jungle. And the cloud forest was indeed refreshing after Napo and full of hummingbirds, butterflies and wild orchids. We even went on a hike with zip lines!! The Seaman II was great. We loved the guide and the itininerary etc. The Galapagos is as fantastic as we imagined and even better!Thanks, Glenna Weiss
