Floripa Surf Experience - 5 nights

Have you always wanted to surf, or maybe you've just started out and want to take your skills to the next level learning from the pros? You've come to the right place, because your Floripa Surf Experience includes everything you need to get you started and riding waves in no time in a fun, comfortable and safe learning environment: perfect learning conditions, professional and personalized instructions.Florianopolis and its nearby beach surroundings have a year-round consistent swell. Every day of your trip we will check where the 'break of the day' is, and will take you there with all the comfort. It might happen that when you see the beach (Praia do Campeche) from the balcony in your room, and walking distance from where you are staying, you may just want to forget about exploring all the other super spots on the island, because you will have great surfing right there.

Surf classes: 4 surf classes at the Campeche beach. This is one of the best beaches in Brazil to learn how to surf, since the pretty Campeche Island protects from big south undulation that hits Floripa´s coast. The classes last 2 hours, and we offer all the necessary equipment for you to learn how to surf, like the surfboard, the lash, paraffin, lycra shirt, first-aid material. The classes can be taken by all ages, beginners, intermediate and advanced. The classes also comprehend the basics from the sea and from the currents, which means we will teach you all the information you need to understand this new environment. For beginners, the classes will teach you how to surf as well as how to be safe while surfing. For the intermediate, we will see how to turn the board, how to drop or take off the wave, and manoeuvres on the wave.

This surf school is in Floripa since 1999, ran by Ernesto, a surf instructor graduated in PE, and specialised in surf by the CBSurf, with international experience in teaching surf by the International Surfing Association and by the Australian Surf Schools International, while also being an active speaker in Surf Congresses.

Lodging is a the charming Vila Tamarindo Eco Lodge - 5 nights accommodation with homemade breakfast (Sea View Suite with private balcony with beautiful sea view, TV, small living room in the bedroom);

Package includes 1 day Trail tour: After taking a "typical Brazilian" breakfast, we will drive to the "Lagoa da Conceição" area, which is big lake, the most famous postcard in the island. We will hike along one of the side of this lake, seeing mirror water scenery, the Atlantic forest and a village that keeps the Azorean habits. We will start the trail at the "Canto dos Araçás", which is a residential area at the lake. From there, we will walk its diverse way while we go through the communities that live along the lake, and will check the best preserved flour mill in the island. This is a smooth trail with a few and slight ups and downs. At the end of the trail there is some typical seafood restaurants, which are lakefront and have piers used as boat stops, for the boats that can take us back to Canto dos Araçás, while we enjoy the splendid lake view.

Ecotourism - 3 nights

This is a tour for you to enjoy the best of Floripa, walking through trails that will take you to beautiful places, great beaches and fantastic sights.

1st day - Arrival in Floripa. Free morning to enjoy the beach, making yourself at home in the island. From your hotel, you are a short walk (10 minutes) to the beautiful Campeche beach. City-tour in the afternoon.

2nd day - After breakfast, we will drive to the Pântano do Sul beach, a fishing village which is in the south of the island, the wildest side of Florianopolis, since it is the less explored area by the tourism. From there, we will hike for about 1,5 hour towards the beach that for many is the most beautiful in the island: the Lagoinha do Leste. Beautiful sights along the trail. We will spend some time on the beach, enough for us to gather energy to come back. We suggest a late lunch at the "Ribeirão da Ilha". This is the oldest district in Floripa, famous for the oysters' farms. Cozy restaurants with beautiful sea sight await us.

Adventure Tour - Hiking and rafting - 4 nights

Florianopolis is blessed to be an incredible location that offers a huge variety of adventure and extreme sport options and it simply wouldn't do this island justice not to provide you with access to them.

3rd day - After breakfast we will drive to Sto. Amaro da Imperatriz, in the mountains, 40 km away from Floripa. This city is in the area of the State Park of the Tabuleiro Mountains. It is a privileged area with mountains, clean and clear water rivers, many waterfalls. The ideal scenery for us to go rafting in the Cubatão River. First we will go through a quick training to get used to the equipment. After that, we will be ready for a rafting level II and III, with a lot of excitement and no danger.

4th day - Free day for the beach or to see the island highlights.

5th day - Free day - departure day.

(when the sun sets, it's time to meet our nightlife guide. Florianopolis has many charming restaurants that offer delicious food at an affordable price. Not only the great Brazilian cuisine, but also Japanese, Thai, Italian, Portuguese, Mediterranean and more. After having dinner and may be the local drink "caipirinha", it is time to explore the great clubs and bars. Florianopolis is known in Brazil as the city with the highest number of beautiful people in the country, and you will see why on the dance floor of the clubs you will go.The nice thing of having a nightlife guide, is that they will go to the 'right' club on the 'right' night, will have access to private parties, and will have a local friend who will already know the ways there, introducing to friends, helping out with directions, menus, etc. It is a VIP service that has been much appreciated)

Our neighboring beaches are Armação and Morro das Pedras to the south, and Joaquina and Mole to the North.

During the morning, we offer a delicious and diversified breakfast buffet, with products made at the Pousada. These include: several types of bread; cake; yoghurt; sweets; cheese bread and much more. Upon your return from the beach or daytime outing, there’s nothing better than enjoying the ocean views from the pool-deck, or relaxing in the hammock in the shade of the trees. Or, if you prefer, we can arrange for a relaxing professional massage in your suite. Our Pousada also offers private parking, laundry services and coffee shop . We can also arrange all kinds of Island tours, car rentals, ecotourism activities and boat outings. The staff at Vila Tamarindo are concerned with giving good, quality service, and attend to all of our guests with a gentle touch.

Payment terms: 50% down payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% shall be paid 35 days before the arrival of the traveler.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded less a 10% of the total package value.
After 30 days before the arrival date there is no refund, but the traveler may come at other available time in the period of 1 year, according to availability.
