We offer several different ships to choose from, ranging from tourist class to deluxe class. Several of these ships have 3, 4 and 7 night itineraries, though many only offer 7 nights. For those of you who don't like to overnight on boats, we also offer a land-based option
There are 2 seasons for Galapagos travel, though the seasons are mainly tied to mainland occurrences because there is always something to see and do on the Galapagos. Low Season is May, June, September, October and some boats offer discounted rates then. September is probably the time when the sea is the least calm.
To the prices indicated for the various options, you must add park taxes of approximately $100 and airfare. When you book the cruise or land option, the air to the islands is automatically booked for you.
As of June 1st, 2008, fuel prices for
Galapagos operators will be increased by as much as 150%
as per the decree, signed by the President
of the Country and by the Minister of Tourism.
So the various operators will be adding fuel surcharges to the prices
listed below.
