A luxury ship will take you on an exciting cruise along the Negro and Amazon rivers with all the comfort and excellent service. The adventure begins in the city of Manaus, capital of Amazonas, famous for its spectacular Opera House, designated as Brazilian historical heritage. Departing from Manaus, the Iberostar Grand Amazon stops at several points along the amazing Amazon jungle, and offers excursions on small boats to explore the dense, virgin vegetation. You and other adventure seekers will come into contact with the most exhuberant species of trees, plants, exotic animals and the local river communities, friendly and hospitable people. 72 cabins placed in three decks, Mandi, Acará and Tambaqui (23 square meters). 2 Royal suites placed in front of vessel (50 square meters). All suites and cabins equipped with private bathrooms, hair dryer, private balcony, twin- size beds, TV, Telephone, air-conditioner and music.

Price includes accommodation, welcome drink, meals, snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (domestic and imported), safes in the cabins, tourism activities on land with specialized guides.

The ship has a complete entertainment program for you. Theree are bars, restaurants, shows, a night club, theme parties, dance classes, a fitness center, pool, hydro-massage, lectures about flora and fauna and much more.

RIO SOLIMOES - AMAZONAS Itinerary - Thurs.-Sun.

1st day (Thurs.): MANAUS. Embarkation from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm. Departure from the Manaus port at approx 6.00 pm.

2nd day (Fri.): After breakfast in the morning, trekking and visit to local caboclo ¨fazenda¨, in the afternoon a bird watching boat trip through the Igarapés (creeks) or piranha fishing and in the evening after dinner alligator spotting. All this in the Manacapurú lake region. Different lectures throughout the day, snack grill on the top deck, and different social on board activities. Music in the Lua discotheque in the evening, when the cruise continues.

3rd day (Sat.): Before breakfast guests have the chance to go on a boat trip for bird watching. Another trekking event in the morning and lectures on different subjects during the day, photo-safari by motor boat in the afternoon for bird watching. Farewell Captain´s dinner in the evening with regional folkloric show and music in the Lua discotheque.

4th day (Sun.): Sunrise Lovers breakfast on the top deck in the early morning and observation of the "Meeting of the Waters", Buffet breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant from 7.00 am. Arrival in Manaus at approximately 8:00 am and disembarkation around 8.30 am.

RIO NEGRO Itinerary - Sun.-Thurs.

1st day (Sun.): MANAUS. Embarkation from 3.00 pm until 5.00 pm.
Departure from Manaus port at approx. 6:00 pm past Ponta Negra in the direction of Novo Airão.

2nd day (Mon.): After breakfast you will visit the 'botos' (pink dolphins) in Novo Airão. And do trekking or participate in a photo safari by motor boat. Different lectures on the Amazon and rainforest flora and fauna during the day, grill and snack on the top deck, photo-safari by motor boat or piranha fishing in the afternoon in the Aracari Lake region. In the evening, after dinner, boat trip and alligator spotting followed by dancing in the Lua discotheque.

3rd day (Tue.): After breakfast trekking or boat trip for bird watching in the Puduarí river region. During the day lectures, different social on board activities and in the afternoon boat trip for photo-safari. "Sunset Classical Music" and cocktails in the late afternoon on the top deck and music in the Lua discotheque after dinner.

4th day (We): Before breakfast early morning boat trip for bird watching. During the morning you will visit a local indigenous village and after lunch there is a boat trip with bird watching in the Ariaú river region or free time at the beach of Praia Grande. Captains Farewell dinner in the Kuarup restaurant at 8:00 pm. After dinner there is a regional folkloric show in the Lua discotheque with music to dance until 1:00 am.

5th day (Thurs.): Sunrise Lovers breakfast on the top deck in the early morning and observation of the "Meeting of the Waters", Buffet breakfast in the Kuarup restaurant from 7.00 am. Arrival in Manaus at approximately 8:00 am and disembarkation around 8.30 am.

Program on last day for passengers continuing on the cruise for a combination program of 7 nights/8 days:

· 1:00 - 2:30pm Lunch in the Kuarup restaurant
· 2:30 - 4:30pm Two optional excursions
