Day 1 Transfer by four wheel drive Posadas - Colonia
Carlos Pellegrini, Irupé Lodge. Dinner and night Irupé Lodge.
Day 2 Boat Safari into the Wetlands to get face
to face with the wildlife of the swamp; short walk through a virgin jungle
to see the howler monkeys and then visit to the park museum. Lunch. Trekking
or horse ride in the countryside during the afternoon and sunset (or even
under the stars). Observation of night active animals. Visit to small
Estancias and learning about everyday life far off electricity and cars.
Dinner at a gaucho family's home. Night Irupé Lodge.
Day 3 Safari combination leaving Irupé Lodge
by boat, investigating the channels south of the wetlands. After getting
off the boat at a remote wooden bridge you will explore the a private
nature reserve on horseback. The ride takes you along the lake, Caranday
palm tree forests, reeds and natural jungles. Picnic break along the ride
or barbecue at the manor of the estancia; fun games with the gauchos.
Dinner and night Irupé Lodge.
Day 4 Transfer Colonia Carlos Pellegrini - Posadas by 4x4.

- Candelaria. Lunch at 120 year old Estancia. Guided visit to the 80 square
kilometre large estancia with owner (by horseback, on foot, 4x4). Horse
riding and observing the gauchos daily work. Dinner and night Estancia.
Optional visit to the "Image and sound" show at the Jesuit Mission
San Ignacio (duration including drive from / to estancia approx. 2 hours).
Day 5 Early in the morning you can observe the
gauchos working with the cattle in the corrals just behind the manor.
Private transfer by car / 4WD to Iguazú. Lunch not included. Along
the way there is time for 2 stops with guided visits (Ruins of San Ignacio,
Loreto or Santa Ana, private orchid collection, yerba mate factory, semi
precious stone mine, birth house of Che Guevara, etc.). Arrival at Iguazú
