Lake District Flyfishing

Day 1 Puerto Montt - Puerto Varas
We shall pick you up at the airport in Puerto Montt and take you to Puerto Varas, located on the marvelous Lake Llanquihue. The rest of the day you are free to explore the town. Tonight you will meet your fly fishing guide to discuss the upcoming days with him. Overnight in the 4-star Hotel Cabañas del Lago, which is overlooking Lake Llanquihue and the Osorno Volcano.

Day 2 Fly fishing in the Source Rivers of Lago Llanquihue (B/L)
After breakfast we start early in the morning for a full day of fly
fishing in the Rivers Pescado, Blanco and Tepú, all source rivers of Lago Llanquihue. These rivers are famous for their crystal clarity of water and abundant rainbow trout, as well as Coho and Atlantic salmon. Typical weights of between 1 and 5 kg should be expected. For lunch you will enjoy a savory barbecue and a good bottle of Chilean wine on the river. Overnight: Hotel Cabañas del Lago.

Day 3 Fly fishing in the Río Maulin (B/L)
Today we float in a boat on the beautiful Río Maulin, which flows out of Lago Llanquihue 90 km to the Pacific Ocean. In this river we can find beautiful examples of brown and rainbow trout, with a weight of between 1 and 3 kg.
Overnight: Hotel Cabañas del Lago.

Day 4 B
After breakfast we shall transfer to the airport in Puerto Montt for your connecting flight.
