These sample itineraries have been carefully developed - with convenient day stops. Butwe will be happy to modify them accordingly to your wishes: maybe a shorter trip - or maybe a more off-road trip leading into the Andes? Just let us know the days you´d like to have the car in each region and we will send you a sample itinerary. After booking you will receive the detailed day-by-day route descriptions. We will provide you with information for intersting side-trips, detours, museums, points of interests and of course - with the best restaurants.

Here is one just for the Chilean side, then below that is one for both the Argentine and Chilean sides

Day 1 Temuco
* Airport pick up in Temuco
* Visit Temuco
* Drive to the Estancia Trailanqui, explore the property by bike, on a horse or on a country walk
* Overnight Hacienda Trailanqui
* 80 km total / 60 km on paved road

Day 2 National Park Conguillo
* Drive into the National Park Conguillo
* See huge Llaima Volcano
* See lagoons and huge lava fields and the Araucaria tree (Monkey Puzzle Tree)
* In the evening return to Trailanqui and overnight
* 200 km unpaved road

Day 3 Villarrica - Pucón
* Drive on scenic backroads to Villarrica
* See active Villarrica Volcano
* Drive up the Volcano
* Soak in one of the many natural hot-springs
* Go rafting (option at extra expense)
* Overnight in Pucón in your selected hotel
* 120 km total / 60 km unpaved

Day 4 Pucón - Valdivia
* Drive to Valdivia
* See the Panguipulli Lake
* In Valdivia drive along the river to the Pacific Ocean
* See old Spanish fortresses
* Do a scenic boat tour on the many rivers (option at extra expense)
* Overnight in Valdivia in your selected hotel
* 200 km total / 60 km paved

Day 5 Valdivia - Puerto Varas
* Drive south on the Panamericana Highway to Puerto Varas
* See Frutillar and visit the museum with the history of the German settlement in this region
* Overnight in Puerto Varas in your selected hotel
* Dinner at the Merlin! (option at extra expense)
* 220 km on paved road

Day 6 Volcano Osorno - Todos los Santos Lake
* Drive along the Llanquihue Lake
* Drive up the Volcano Osorno
* Have great views
* See the Petrohue waterfalls and the Todos los Santos Lake
* In the evening drive back to Puerto Varas
* Overnight in Puerto Varas in your selected hotel

Day 7 Puerto Montt
* Visit the scenic harbour town of Puerto Montt
* Return car in airport Puerto Montt

FLY & DRIVE CHILEAN & ARGENTINEAN LAKE DISTRICT

Day 1 Temuco
* Pick up car in airport Temuco
* Visit Temuco

Day 4 San Martín de los Andes - Bariloche
* Drive through a wild-west atmosphere towards Bariloche
* Go over the Paso Cordoba
* See the Marlboro Valley
* In Bariloche drive the scenic coastal road along the Nahuel Huapi
* Drive up the Cerro Otto with great views to surrounding lakes

Day 5 Bariloche - Mount Tronador
* Drive towards the Mount Tronador, which has four immense glaciers
* Scenic drive along the Mascardi Lake

Day 6 Bariloche - Puerto Varas
* Cross the Andes into Chile over the Puyehue Pass
* Great driving through the mountains and along Lake Nahuel Huapi

* Arrive in Puerto Varas in the evening
* Overnight in Puerto Varas in your selected hotel

Day 7 Volcano Osorno - Todos los Santos Lake
