Malocas Lodge

Day 1- You will be met at your hotel and will leave from the hotel at 08:30 a.m. to go 80 kms by road to Vila do Rio Preto da Eva where a motorized canoes will be waiting to take us to Malocas Jungle Lodge.It has 12 double rooms with private showers, restaurant , bar and area for relaxing in hammocks. After lunch we will go by paddle canoe to visit the caboclos ( native people ). On our return we will fish for piranhas and do some alligator spotting.

Day 2- After breakfast we will go on a Jungle trek during which the guides will explain the various uses of the plants including those with medicinal properties. On the way we will visit one of the many waterfalls, where we can swim. Lunch, then paddling with canoes through the Igarapés and Igapós. After dinner, spear fishing.

Day 3- After breakfast we will go on a second Jungle trek ( different eco system) ending at a waterfall. Lunch. Optional activities

Day 4- Leave by paddle canoe for survival training, be taught to live like the Indians, using natural products such as roots and medicinal plants. Trek into the jungle, build improvised shelters and cook on a campfire, night in hammocks slung between the trees.

Day 5- After breakfast, long trek in the jungle, stop at the native's house spend the rest of day and night there ( sleeping in hammocks) to have contact with the second generation of indigenous people.

Day 6- After breakfast take a canoe to return to Malocas Lodge. Lunch and Return to Manaus, to arrive in late afternoon, around 530pm

Add $20 per day for single person at lodge

Prices include transfer from airport to a hotel the day before tour starts, transfer to and from lodge, all meals and excursions at lodge..
We can reserve hotels for you such as:

Ana Cassia Hotel - R$ 100,00 for double room
Manaos Hotel - R$ 159,00 for double room

Add $75 per group (not per person) for transfer to airport in early afternoon in time for flights on last day
