Day 1 - Arrive in San Jose,
transfer airport - Hotel. Overnight in San Jose.
Day
2 - Early departure towards the Gulf of Nicoya, across
the Bay lies Curú National Wildlife Refuge. Our sea
kayaking base camp for the next 3 days. Camping at Quesera Beach.

Day 3 - Today we'll spend enjoying
the paddling varieties of the area - paddling around Tortugas
Islands or drifting through a rich and unique mangrove. Enjoy
your last evening under the Pacific stars surrounded by the tranquility
of the ocean and tropical surrounding. (B,L,D)
Day 4 - We will go for our last
paddle in the morning back to Curú base and our return to
San Jose. (B,L)
Day 5 - The Pacuare river
will guarantee one of the most breathtaking tropical rainforest
experiences. Paddle this whitewater utopia far removed
from civilization's rush and live it's heart-pounding excitement.
Overnight at Lodge (B,L,D)
Day 6 - Today is designed to
enjoy the Lodge's surroundings: hiking, bird watching, soaking
in our waterfalls and pools or simply relax. Overnight at Lodge
(B,L,D)
Day
7 - Paddle into the Pacuare gorge past gushing waterfalls,
serene pools and pounding rapids. Upper and Lower Huacas, Cimarron,
Dos Montañas and many more, will have you cheering ecstatically.
A short drive from the take-out to our Operations Center for an
exquisite hot lunch, showers, changing rooms, cold and hot drinks.
Overnight at a local Hotel (B,L)
Day 8 - If you are ready for
BIG water, the Pascua section of the Reventazón will
challenge the most adventurous spirit with rapids by the names of
"North Sea", "Horrendito" and "Indigestion".
After the river, drive to our Operations Center. Return to San Jose.
Overnight in San Jose. (B,L,D)
Day 9 - Transfer Hotel - Airport
