surrounded by white sand beaches lapped by turquoise water, mangroves
and magnificent coral reefs teeming with marine life. Such an alluring
vision welcomes you to Los Roques National Park. Once commercial airlines
started providing regular flights to Los Roques, tourism became an additional
source of income and many fishermen houses were turned into Posadas or
small guest houses. In order to preserve and protect the National Park,
the Posadas can have a maximum number of 10 rooms and only one floor.
In the village, consisting only of a few sandy roads, there are no cars.
