5 Star Lovers Tour

Here is a wonderful tour designed to designed to allow couples to revel in the excitement of Rio, explore the cobblestone streets in the charming Tuscany-like hilltown of Ouro Preto, and then relax on one of the magnificent palm-shaded beaches of Bahia, after sampling a bit of the African-influenced culture of the area that makes it so "alive".

You will stay in the exquisite Caesar Park Hotel in Ipanema (one of the Leading Hotels of the World), from where you can stroll among the side streets of famed Ipanema and discover the sophisticated shops and restaurants that have made this area "the place to be" in Rio. Take a city tour to discover this magic city and then take the cable car ride to the top of famed Sugarloaf Mountain to see the city in all it's glory.

Next you will fly to Belo Horizonte and transfer through the beautiful mountains to the city of Ouro Preto. Here you will be staying in the heart of the old city at the charming 5 star Solar Nossa Senhora do Rosario Hotel. See the beautiful Baroque churches, built with the help of the gold and precious gems that are mined nearby, walk along the quaint cobble-stoned streets of this totally preserved city, which was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Our next stop is to the former Brazilian capital of Salvador. Upon arrival you will get a chance to experience the old colonial part of this vibrant city , the Pelhourino and see how the African influence has made this part of Brazil a little different. Then you will transfer to the fabulous Praia do Forte Resort, on a splendid beach north of town.

Day 1 - arrive Rio, transfer to hotel, private afternoon tour of Corcovado
Day 2 - private city and Sugarloaf tour
Day 3 - fly to Belo, transfer to Ouro Preto, via Congonhas, including lunch
Day 4 - tour Ouro Preto and Mariana, including lunch
Day 5 - transfer to Belo Horizonte, fly to Salvador, city tour, transfer to Praia do Forte
