Tariri Amazon Lodge

The Tariri Amazon Lodge is located on Lake Acajatuba at Negro River, 70 km from Manaus, in the mediations of the Archipelago of Anavilhanas at the municipality of Iranduba. Here are the most diverse ecosystems and landscapes of lush Amazon jungle, igapos, land and beaches. You can enjoy a real ecotouristic adventure in the jungle.

The Lodge, is an ecological hotel of unique architecture, a singular mix of typical regional buildings. The structure is composed of 8 independent huts - up to 20 people in total - with double and triple rooms, offering comfort, privacy and, above all, comfort.

Our cuisine offers a varied range of diverse Amazon flavors. Our food is cultivated and grow by ourselves, like the fruits used on juices, vegetables, fish and birds, ensuring the quality and authenticity of our cuisine.

Your stay will take place in family environment, where we can share, with exclusivity, the wealth of the place and the perfect knowledge of the region. We will grant your trip an international level of service, welfare and quality that is the motto of our family. 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1 - transfer from Manaus between 8:30 am - 15:30 pm Welcome reception with regional fruit juices. In the afternoon Tour the Rio Negro and lakes by motorized canoe. Visit the riverside families to watch how they make manioc and see exotic and typical Amazon fruits and regional customs.

Day 2 - morning Walk in the jungle. In the afternoon, Piranha fishing. At night, go spotlighting for caiman.

Day 3 - morning Visit to the local community. After lunch, return to Manaus - hotel or airport.

4 days and 3 nights

6 days and 5 nights

Day 4 - Morning Fee for optional tours, or rest in the Lodge. Afternoon Canoeing on Lake Acajatuba.

Day 5 - Visit the riverside families to watch how they make manioc and see exotic and typical Amazon fruits and regional customs. Afternoon: Paddling in the igapós/igarapés

Day 6 - Morning Return to Manaus - hotel or airport

Amazon River Package - 7 days and 6 nights

Day 1 - transfer from Manaus between 8:30 am - 15:30 pm Welcome reception with regional fruit juices. In the afternoon Tour the Rio Negro and lakes by motorized canoe.

Day 2 - morning Walk in the jungle. In the afternoon, Piranha fishing. At night, go spotlighting for caiman

Day 3 - morning Walking in the jungle. In the afternoon, head out for the night in the jungle.

Day 4 - All day in the jungle, with many activities such as:

- Construction of improvised shelters to sleep;
- Traps;
- Collection of fruit and palm;
- Search for water;
- Improvised fishing;
- Build a 'zarabatana', bow and arrow for hunting.

Day 5 - morning, afternoon and night - Visit the riverside families to see exotic and typical Amazon fruits and regional customs.

Day 6 - morning Free for optional tour (suggest: interaction with the pink dolphins). afternoon Canoeing on Lake Acajatuba

Day 7 - After breakfast, return to Manaus - hotel or airport

All Packages include:
• Land Transfer In / Out from Airport or City Hotel (shuttle from 08:30 to 15:00. We don't do transfer at night or at dawn);
• Accommodation in a rustic cabin with balcony and private bathroom.
• Three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and beverages with meals(water and juices). Other beverages and those not with meals are extra.
• The tours of the respective package;
• Bilingual native guide.

2011-2012 Price per person, double occupancy in Brazilian reais: (minimum of 2 people traveling together): 3 days = R$900, 4 days = R$1050, 5 days = R$1350, 6 days = R$1550, 7 days = R$1850

Children:
a) Up to 8 years incomplete = 25% of the package chosen.
b) 8 to 11 years incomplete = 50% of the package chosen.
c) above 11 years = value of the regular package.

15% deposit of basic package required. Balance due upon arrival at lodge in cash.

Warning: the ATM at the airport often does not work, causing inconvenience to the parties (delays, hassles, do not get the money, irritation, constraint, etc.).. This is not good! We advise that clients already to have the money when the transfer person picks you up (at hotel or airport), to avoid difficult situations to be resolved. The transfer service is outsourced. At time of the transfer, any other client request is an extra service (go to bank, shop, cafeteria, or elsewhere) and will be charged a fee of R$ 100 (reais), because our transfer service is exclusively: Airport or Hotel in Manaus, directly to the Tariri Lodge (and return).

Optional Tours: (at extra cost)

Swimming with the pink dolphins - Aquatic mammals in the Amazon region, fascinate visitors for its beauty and ease with which they interact with humans. In this option the guests will have the opportunity to take pictures and swim with them, besides the thrill of physical contact with this animal as intelligent and fascinating. - R$100 per person for 2 people or R$75 per person for 3or more.

Meeting of the Waters - Experience the amazing phenomenon in which the waters of Solimões and Negro rivers meet to form the Amazon River - R$150 per person for 2 people or R$100 per person for 3or more.(The optional tour "Meeting of the Waters " will be held in the first or the last day, if requested by the customer).

Indian tribes - Visit a small community, indians show part of their culture. - R$100 per person for 2 people or R$75 per person for 3or more.

Our packages include transfer of land approximately 2:30 hours away. We offer some optional transfers By speedboat. Estimated travel time 2h. R$500 (reais) each way.(per trip and not per person).

What to bring: - Bring light clothes and comfortable; - Shoes for walking – Sunglasses - Hat or cap – Raincoat; -Flashlight – Sunscreen – Repellent.

- Flashlight and extra batteries = there is not electricity all of the time.

We have a generator that is powered from 18 to 22h. It generaltes 110 volts. The electrical outlets accept plugs as shown. If you have equipment (camera. camcorder, laptop, etc.), that needs recharging, please bring adapter if needed

Different periods in the Amazon Jungle near Manaus:
Period February - March - April - May - June - July: - is a good time in the Amazon, because we have the flooded forest,and many places to see in this area where we are located in a large lake, with a chance to check out the beautiful native landscapes.

Period August - September - October - November - December - January: - is a good time for fishing in the Amazon, because we have drought, with the waters low (we are located on the shores of Great Lake Acajatuba).
