"The trip went really well - the guides were really good and took good care of us. We loved Nicaragua and we enjoyed all of our hikes and activities. When we were in Ometepe, we were scheduled to hike Madera, but several people told us that because of all the rain, it was too muddy, and to hike Concepcion. Which we did. And which was SO hard! We made it above the tree line, but not all the way to the top, which was fine. It is very steep. Our guide, Neftali, was great, though. Thanks for putting all of it together for us and hopefully we will be able to do another one of your tours in the future! Oh, were you able to get a refund from Apoyo Resort? It is a fantastic place, although the front desk staff was not the friendliest. But the villas were unbelievable! We really liked Plaza Colon in Granada, as well, so thanks for that recommendation.
