TROPICAL ADVENTURES - 8 days / 7 nights
A good dose of activities and soft adventure are the treatment

Day 1 - Meet and greet at the airport
and transfer to the Fleur de Lys hotel.
Day 2 - (B, D) After breakfast, you
will depart to the area of Sarapiquí, located about 1 ½
hour drive from San José. Once there, you will board a boat for
a 2-hour guided tour along the Sarapiquí River, known for
its exuberant wildlife and natural beauty. During the boat ride
our guide will talk about the different animal species that inhabit the
forest along the river. After the boat ride you will be transferred to
La Quinta Lodge. In the afternoon our guide will lead you on a horseback
ride through the nearby pineapple plantations and farms.
Day 3 - (B)
After breakfast visit to La selva Biological Station.This centre, which
belongs to the Organisation for Tropical Studies, is a very well known
study place for researchers and students from around the world. A specialist
guide will walk you along their different trails, where you will have
the chance to learn about the region's ecological characteristics. Return
to the hotel around midday. Rest of the day at leisure / La Quinta.
Day 4 - (B, D) Early in the morning
departure towards Villas del Caribe, located in Puerto Viejo on the southern
Caribbean coast about 3+ hours drive from Sarapiqil. The spacious and
comfortable villas have been decorated, combining wood and concrete, resulting
in a cool, elegant ambience. There are beautiful gardens with tropical
plants, all villas are equipped with a full kitchen, breakfast area, terrace
with BBQ, a fan, private bathroom with hot water and nature trails leading
directly onto the beach. Villas del Caribe has an open-air restaurant
facing the sea.
Day 5 - (B) After breakfast, meet
your guide for a snorkelling tour on one of the Caribbean's largest coral
reefs in the Cahuita National Park, ground and boat transportation, box
lunch, equipment and entrance fee included. Return to the hotel by the
afternoon. Overnight at Villas del
Caribe.
Day 6 - (B) Day at leisure to rest
at the beach or to sign on the optional activities (not included) such
as kayaking, biking, hiking or fishing.
Day 7 - (B) Free morning to enjoy
the beach. At around noon transfer back to San Jose. Overnight at the
hotel Country Inn & Suites located at 10 minutes drive from the international
airport .
Day 8 - (B) Transfer to the international
airport .
