Food & Wine Adventure in Argentina's Wine Roads- 7 Days / 6 nights

A journey to explore the country and its outstanding wines. Arrive in the cosmopolitan Buenos Aires, and soak into its history and current wine scenario. Fly to the province of Mendoza, into the diverse oasis of winemaking: the Central Valleys and the high terroirs of the Uco Valley. The incredible Andean landscape will be an amazing frame during our entire stay. Lodge at exclusive, countryside retreats. Dine at Argentina's most renowned chefs' own private venues, and state-of- the- art wineries. Lay back and enjoy the landscape of this marvelous land at the foothill of the Andes.


Day 1: Arrival to Buenos Aires
We will be waiting for you at Buenos Aires Airport. Transfer to your centric hotel, and brief orientation meeting with your guide to review your itinerary. In the late afternoon, we depart for one of the city's finest Wine-Bars , where we will get introduced to the Malbecs and Torrontes, Argentina's most distinctive wines. Welcome Dinner at "La Caballeriza" steak house, by the bustling waterfront.

Day 2: Buenos Aires-
A day full of contrasts throughout Buenos Aires streets. Morning visit to the Historic Neighborhood of San Telmo, the art district with its Artisan & antiques fair at Dorrego Square. From there we head for Plaza de Mayo ( Main Square), and the exclusive Barrio of Recoleta , famous both for its cafés and its fancy, elaborated cemetery of the Argentine aristocracy. Time for lunch at the square, and afternoon leisure. Early evening stop at La Cava del Querandí Wine Club to sample premium wines of Argentina's different wine regions (*). Later on, we will go for an Evening Gala of Tango , to enjoy the art of superb musicians & dancers .

Day 3: Mendoza - ( Uco Valley )-
Morning transfer to Buenos Aires domestic airport to board an early flight to Mendoza, center of Argentina's wine making. Transfer to Uco Valley and lodge at the exclusive Posada. Lunch at Killka , Salentein Bodega`s Restaurant and Art Space. Afternoon visit to the winery and walk through the vineyards with incredible views to the Andes and the Tupungato Volcano (6800 mts)

Day 4: Mendoza - ( Uco Valley )
Today we head for one of the valley's finest wineries: Clos de los Siete , a joint wine adventure initiated a few years back by the world famous french winemaker Michel Rolland,. with magnificent views of the Andes. We also visit Monteviejo Winery, before heading for a traditional Asado at Posada del Jamon, the hidden local gem specialized in pork meats. Afternoon horseback ride by the Andean foothills, or leisure at the Posada's magnificent surroundings.

Day 5: Mendoza ( Central Valleys)
Morning transfer north, to the province's central valleys. Visit to Catena Zapata . The winery, recognized for being the pioneer of quality winemaking in Argentina, is also well known for the outstanding architectural design of its Bodega. . Lunch * at the superb restaurant of Ruca Malen winery, and check in at the exclusive lodge at the vineyards .

* Note: if lodging at Vistalba , lunch will be at La Bourgogne ,the bodega's restaurant

Day 6: Central Valleys of Mendoza - Wineries
Morning visit to award winning winery Achaval Ferrer. Only a few years into the market , its wines consistently receive 90 + punctuations ( Wine Spectator). During today's lunch we sample the local delicatessen at Almacen del Sur. Afternoon leisure at the lodge. Evening visit to centric Mendoza, and farewell dinner at " 1884", where Chef Francis Mallman blends the finest culinary traditions of France and South America.

Day 7: Mendoza- Buenos Aires
Morning transfer to Mendoza airport to board flights back to Buenos Aires. Transfer from (Bs. As.) domestic to international airport to board flight home / choice of transfer to centric hotel.
