Bolivia
Today, despite its narrow paths, dangerous stretches, and obvious risks, Death Road is a popular tourist destination in Bolivia. Other than presenting picturesque views, it offers a day trip that has a full suspension mountain bike trail, which will take you from the high snow-capped Andes to the sub-tropical jungle town of Coroico.
Costa Rica
Selvatura, in Costa Rica, is a nature theme park set in the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Here, you can take part in an all-embracing outdoor adventure highlighted by the so-called ‘Tarzan Swing’. You’ll start with a zip line ride across the country’s scenic mountains, followed by a heart-stopping ride on the ‘Flight of the Quetzal’. This tour will culminate in a bungee jump-type of ride known as the Tarzan Swing, where you’ll be harnessed to a rope before jumping off a tree platform to another.
Peru
There’s a place called Action Valley, where you’ll step inside a small cage – together with an instructor, of course – and will be lifted 400 feet above the ground. You’ll then have fleeting moments suspended on wires, thinking about whether or not it’s all worth it, before taking the dive of your life. The Action Valley bungee jump in Cuzco is the tallest of its kind in South America. Furthermore, if this activity proves to be too intimidating, you can always try your hand at paintball, wall climbing, and paragliding
