DAY 1 | Arrival to Lima | Afternoon at leisure.
Upon your arrival at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima, our transportation service with a representative takes you to the selected hotel.

DAY 2 | Lima – Arequipa | City tour & Monastery of Santa Catalina.
Our transportation service with an English-speaking driver picks you up from your selected hotel and takes you to the Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima for a morning domestic flight from Lima to Arequipa.

Upon arrival at the Arequipa airport, our transportation service and representative will greet you and take you to your hotel.
A guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Carmen Alto viewpoint, where you can admire the Chili River and the Misti and Chanchani volcanoes. Next, you will visit Yanahuara's viewpoint to appreciate the urban contrast and see constructions of white volcanic stone known as sillar. Afterward, the tour will continue at Plaza de Armas, a quintessential urban meeting space. Finally, you will explore the Convent of Santa Catalina, featuring plazas, cloisters, and streets.

*Dress code for visiting churches: pants, long shorts, or skirts that cover the knees; otherwise, entry will not be permitted. Please note that, as this is a shared service, the pickup window is 30 minutes from the scheduled start time.

Santa Catalina Monastery

DAY 3 | Arequipa - Colca Canyon.
In the morning, a driver picks you up from your hotel to begin the journey to Chivay. The trip follows a paved road, crossing the Aguada Blanca National Reserve in Pampa Cañahuas, where you can observe vicuñas in their natural habitat. A brief stop takes place in Patahuasi, where you have the chance to taste local herbal teas and use the restrooms. The journey continues through Viscachani and the Toccra wetlands, home to alpacas, vicuñas, and various migratory birds. Then, you arrive at Patapampa, the Andes Lookout (4,910 m.a.s.l.), where you can admire the impressive volcanic range. Afterward, descend to the town of Chivay (3,635 m.a.s.l.), arriving around midday. After lunch, you are transferred to your hotel. You have the rest of the afternoon free to relax, enjoy the hotel facilities, or explore the surroundings at your own pace.

DAY 4 | Colca Canyon - Puno.
Early in the morning, depending on your hotel’s location, the driver picks you up to start the journey. Make a brief stop at the main square of Yanque before heading to the Condor’s Cross, the best viewpoint to admire the vastness of the Colca Canyon and observe the majestic flight of the Andean condor. On the way back, visit several lookouts before arriving at the town of Maca. Then, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in Chivay. After lunch, depart for Puno, a journey of approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes. Along the way, stop at Patahuasi, where services are available, and at the Lagunillas viewpoint, where you can observe migratory birds such as flamingos. Finally, arrive in Puno and get transferred to your hotel.

Uros Island Indians

DAY 5 | Puno | Lake Titicaca: Uros and Taquile Islands.
By the high-altitude city of Puno lies Lake Titicaca, the world's highest navigable lake. Here, the Uros people are an ancestral society inhabiting artificial islands constructed on bases woven from totora reeds, which grow in the lake itself. The tour begins with a transfer to the port of Puno, where a boat awaits to take you to the beautiful Uros Islands. After a magical one-and-a-half-hour excursion, you will continue to the island of Taquile, renowned for its ancestral culture and traditional way of life. Here, there will be an informational session about the island, followed by a delightful lunch. Finally, you will return to the city of Puno.

DAY 6 | Puno - Cusco.
Get ready for a journey to Cusco, the heart of the Inca Empire. Discover a route that winds through stunning Andean landscapes, featuring villages and native wildlife. Stop at the Pucara Museum, declared Cultural Heritage of the Nation. Pause at La Raya, the highest point on the route at 4,313 meters above sea level, and enjoy a delightful lunch. Visit the town of Raqchi, famous for its Temple of Wiracocha. Explore the charming town of Andahuaylillas, renowned for its church, known as the Sistine Chapel of America due to its impressive artworks. Finally, arrive at your hotel in Cusco and receive assistance during your check-in.

DAY 7 | Cusco - Sacred Valley | Chinchero, Ollantaytambo & Living Museum of Yucay.
A vehicle picks you up in the morning and takes you to the picturesque town of Chinchero. Explore its impressive agricultural terraces and the 17th-century church, built on an ancient Inca palace. Next, stop at a viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular landscapes of the Sacred Valley. Then, visit the Yucay Living Museum, where you witness the creation of textiles, pottery, and silverwork using ancient Inca techniques. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch in the Sacred Valley. After lunch, visit the impressive Ollantaytambo Fortress, an important ceremonial center known for its remarkable agricultural terraces extending up the surrounding mountains. At the end of this full-day tour, return to your hotel. This tour is shared with other passengers.
* The Chinchero market is included in tourist visits planned for Sundays.
*The visit to the Chinchero church will be made from the outside only; entrance is not included.
The Cusco Tourist Ticket (BTC), included in the itinerary, is a personal and non-transferable document that provides access to 16 important attractions in Cusco and its surroundings, such as Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay. It also allows entry to various sites in the Sacred Valley Circuit, including Ollantaytambo, Pisac, Moray, and Chinchero.

DAY 8 | Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu - Cusco.
Our transportation service picks you up from your hotel in Urubamba (Sacred Valley) and transfers you to the Ollantaytambo train station. This transfer is shared with other passengers.

You board the Voyager train by Inca Rail at the Ollantaytambo station heading to the Aguas Calientes station (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, you receive assistance. For your return to Ollantaytambo station, you board the 360° train. Each journey lasts approximately one and a half hours, and schedules are subject to availability.

*360° Service: Live music, USB port to charge mobile devices, magic on board: Ollantay (available only on the way to Aguas Calientes).

Aguas Calientes, located on the slopes of Machu Picchu, features a lively craft market, various restaurants, and lodging options. Just a 25-minute bus ride away is Machu Picchu, an impressive architectural and engineering marvel believed to have been a sanctuary and retreat for the Inca Pachacutec. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu translates to "Old Mountain," which enchants visitors with its historical grandeur and natural beauty. After the visit, travelers return by bus to Aguas Calientes to begin the journey back to Cusco. This tour is shared with other passengers.

(*) From the confirmed entry time to the Machu Picchu citadel, you will have half an hour to reach the entrance of Machu Picchu Mountain and start your hike.
*Remember to confirm your reservation as soon as possible to proceed with the purchase of tickets in advance due to the limited capacity of the citadel. The specific circuit to visit Machu Picchu and schedule will be selected according to availability at the time of reservation confirmation. 
Enjoy a delicious set lunch menu at Café Inkaterra while taking in the breathtaking view of the Vilcanota River. The restaurant is known for its unique blend of Andean cuisine and contemporary trends, resulting in a fusion-style meal with a distinctive flavor.
After your train journey from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, a transfer will be waiting for you at the train station to take you to the selected hotel in Cusco. This transfer will be shared with other passengers.

Then, visit the main temple of the city of Cusco, known as the Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption. Later, tour the Cusco hills of the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, visit the Qenqo archaeological complex, and walk through the Puca Pucara military architectural complex and the ruins of Tambomachay, also known as the Inca spa. Finally, return to the selected hotel. This tour is shared with other passengers.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT MACHU PICCHU

ENTRANCE & GUIDE:

• The first entrance to the citadel requires the mandatory accompaniment of a guide. Please note that the guided tour lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
• The route to visit the Machu Picchu citadel and schedules are subject to availability.
• For the purchase of tickets to Machu Picchu it is necessary to send full name, date of birth, nationality, passport number of passengers, which must match the current passport that will be used for the trip. It is important to take into account that the entrance tickets to the citadel are non-refundable from the time of purchase.

LUGGAGE:

• In the case of an overnight stay in the Sacred Valley during shared services, operator will be responsible for transferring only one piece of hand luggage per passenger to the hotel in the Sacred Valley. If the passenger wishes to have the rest of their luggage transferred, an additional fee will apply. In the case of an overnight stay in Cusco, the hand luggage will be stored in the hotel’s luggage room.
• Carry the same document that you presented to the agency, given that train tickets and entrance to Machu Picchu will be issued with this information.
• In all train services to Machu Picchu, the passenger may carry only hand luggage (backpack, bag or briefcase) of no more than 8 kg/ 17.6 lb  on the train to/from Machu Picchu. You will find your luggage at the chosen hotel.

 
  
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• All rates are per person and apply to foreign passengers only.
• Prices are subject to change without notice and can only be guaranteed after booking.
• Reservations must include each passenger’s full name, nationality, passport number, age and date of birth.
• If the suggested/listed hotels for this program are not available at the time of confirmation, operator will offer new hotel alternatives with revised prices.
• Early arrival on day 1 does not guarantee the availability of hotel rooms. Standard check-in times apply, unless additional nights of accommodations are purchased to ensure immediate access to rooms.
• Our accommodation rates include breakfast. Breakfasts have assigned schedules according to the policies of each hotel establishment, being generally between 06:00 – 10:00; if the passenger has a transfer or withdraw before the assigned time, the passenger will lose this benefit, not being able to be compensated in another hotel. The services of Room Service or of a box breakfast have an additional cost and don’t compensate the breakfast that can’t be served.
• For reservations with train services to Machu Picchu, the seats are assigned according to the availability of the car. Locations can only be arranged after the ticket has been issued.

For package cancellation fees will be charged as follows:

• Machu Picchu Citadel entrance, Machu Picchu Mountain and Huayna Picchu entrance, Amazonian cruises, trains and other special services are subject to cancellation charges indicated  at the time of confirmation.
• In case of no-shows (defined according to hotel policy), there will be a surcharge of 18% (IGV - General Sales Tax) in addition to the rate.
