Inca Capital to the Amazon - 8 days
|
On this 8 day adventure we first visit the mandatory Cusco/Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu and then we explore the wonders of the Amazon jungle at the Tambopata Research Center, where we can visit 2 clay licks and maybe even see a jaguar because the lodge is so remote! But the lodge is far from rustic with top notch accommodations and one of the best guiding teams in the region. This program combines the well known Machu Pichu citadel and its surrounding Sacred Valley and Cusco with one of the best lodges in the Peruvian Amazon, on the shores of the Tambopata River. A convenient direct flight between these two destinations is included. |
