Trekking Tours in Peru

We can offer a number of exciting options to satisfy your desire to do some great trekking in Peru. Whether you want to do the Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, the new easier alternative version, the tougher route via Salkantay, a trek to see the fabled Vilcabamba or remote villages, the Cordillera Blanca or one of the new exotic treks in the ruin-filled cloud forests of Chachapoyas, we can arrange for the epic trip that you've been dreaming about.

People are always asking if our people provide good service on the treks. The comments that we list on our site are from real people who used our services. In 1998 our Cusco operator was honored by the Peruvian Vice-Ministry of Tourism. In 1999 they were awarded the International Operator Trophy by the tourism industry of Spain and in 2000 they were voted The Best Tour Operator by the Peruvian Association of Adventure and Ecotourism. They were also the 2002 Winner of the "Best Travel Agent and Tourism in Investment 2002" , Awarded by The Ministry of Tourism of Cusco (DRITINCI) and also Winner of the "Chacana" Best Travel Agent in Adventure Trips and Ecotourism 2002 Awarded by The College of Professionals in Tourism of Peru (COLITUR).

Since 2004, the number of trek permits for the Inca Trail has been limited to 500 per day (about 200 tourists and 300 trekking staff) so if you want to do this trek it is VITAL to book well in advance. For the high season (May to September) it advisable to book at least 3 months in advance to guarantee a place. Permits are sold on a first come, first served basis, and once all places have been booked, NO trekking operator can offer you a space on the Inca Trail. There is no system with a waiting list. All spaces are personal and non-transferable and even if someone would cancel, no one else could take that space.Even in the low season you should book as far in advance as possible. Please also note that the Inca Trail is closed in February of each year for maintenance.

To make a booking request of a tour that includes the Inca Trail, we need your full name, date of birth, nationality and passport number. This must be done at least 35 days before the start of the trek or we won't be able to get a permit. Many dates fill up early.

Note: all Inca Trail permits are already sold for start dates until mid-August!
