The Altiplano Highlights tour takes you to La Paz, Lake Titicaca and Uyuni - off the beaten path and in style.

Day 1 - arrive La Paz. Transfer in and PM City Tour & Teleferico ride.
Day 2 - breakfast, then Overland La Paz / Huatajata / Cocotoni. Hydrofoil to Moon & Sun Islands. Visit the Sun Temple, Llama trek on Inca Trails & Overnight at Posada del Inca Eco-Lodge Day 3 - breakfast, then take hydrofoil to Copacabana. Overland transfer from there to Huatajata, where you can visit the Andean Roots Eco-Village before transferring on to La Paz. Day 4 - Transfer to airport for flight to Uyuni (airticket not included.). Arrival transfer and full day tour of Salt Lake & Isla Pescado. Uyuni is the largest salt flat on Earth, located on the Bolivian Andean Altiplano with 12.000 square Km; the Bolivian Andes offer stunning sceneries which can be hardly matched. The sound of silence makes the heart beats faster and the surreal pentagons of crystalline salt, the pure sky, the color lagoons, the cacti and the flamingos, certainly makes you feel that there is no other place like this in the whole world. Lunch at Isla Pescado, also called “Incawasi”, an oasis with formations of algae and fossils. It is covered by thousands of giant columnar cacti, which can be more than a hundred years old, growing to a height of over 12 mtrs. The landscape against the background of the salt pans extending to the horizon makes it an ideal place for photography hunters. 
Transfer to Jirira. Overnight in a DELUXE AIRSTREAM CAMPER (Full Board). Deluxe Airstream Campers, especially adjusted for the the Salt Flats, are designed for the challenges of the area. They include a double bed, or two twin beds, as well as a convertible sofa; electric blankets, private bath with hot shower, table, wardrobe and luggage space, AC/heating, I-pod port, CD player and a fully stocked mini-bar.
The dreamy accommodation is complemented with the best service in this area. The local culinary specialties are made and served by an experienced cook. The cocktail at sundown offers a great variety of spirituous, as well as soft beverages, making the Nature's spectacle even more memorable. Communication from/to the Camper is controlled through operation sites, including Lake Titicaca and La Paz. Satellite phone, Walkie-Talkies and even cellular phones in certain areas; They also come with oxygen, first aid kit and professional personnel. Day 5 - breakfast, then Transfer to the airport for flight to LPB (air ticket not included.). Transfer to hotel in La Paz. Day 6 - Transfer to the Airport of La Paz. Flights not included in prices. |
