Tierra Atacama will close temporary from the 1st of April to the 30th of November, 2024 due to a significant renovation project underway. This transformation, led by a team of talented Chilean creatives, will focus on preserving the lodge's essence while integrating modern innovations with a deep connection to the landscape and local materials. They aim to provide a refreshed and modern hospitality experience while preserving the lodge's original values. The renovation will revamp indoor spaces, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere with an energy-efficient design. It will also feature a central fireplace for socialising, a new wine cellar, an updated excursions area and an open kitchen, all designed to enhance the lodge's "home away from home" ambiance. The addition of four suites, featuring generous outdoor terraces and magnificent relaxation options, will surprise visitors with the extension of sweeping vistas. Tierra Atacama’s architecture, interior design and gardens were designed by some of Chile’s leading creative talent. Their objectives were to be as authentic as possible, using furniture and accessories handmade with local materials. The resulting spaces excite, relax and inspire our guests. Hotel facilities include living room, bar, restaurant, guest computers with internet, WiFi throughout the hotel, TV lounge, excursions area, board games, outdoor campfire, lounges with views of the Licancabur volcano and our Uma Spa.
