DAY 1: SAN CRISTOBAL ISLAND: WELCOME TO GALAPAGOS!
Afternoon hotel transfer and check-in. Walking tour to human and natural history interpretation center, Frigate Hill and Darwin Bay. Get the experience of walking surrounded by Sea Lions at Playa Carola on your return walk.
DAY 1 - ADD ONS:
WELCOME DINNER. Dine at the rooftop Golden Bay Restaurant featuring international fusion and Ecuadorian cuisine.
TURTLE CONSERVATION. Meet the coordinators of the Marine Turtle Conservation Survey that monitors population and migratory patterns. Present pictures of your group’s marine turtle sightings and receive information of previous sightings and locations.
SNORKELING. Your guide will include an introductory wildlife snorkel during your visit to Darwin Bay.
DAY 2: SAN CRISTOBAL. NORTHERN COAST WILDLIFE, BEACHES AND SNORKELING.
Take a boat tour exploring San Cristobal’s northern coast in search
for marine and shore species. Stop at one or two snorkeling sites and disembark on a white sand beach.
DAY 2 - ADD ONS:
FISHERMEN’S CEVICHE. Participate in the creation of the famous “Galapagos style Ceviche”, an authentic experience, at a local fishermen family home.
ARTISAN FISHING. Experience the opportunity to fish with a local lifelong expert as you travel along the northern coast.
KAYAK EXPEDITION. Paddle along the coast in search for marine and coastal wildlife in quality expedition kayaks and gear. A support boat provides safety and returns kayaks to port, so that you may continue your northern coast exploration.
STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING. Paddle Boarding along the northern coast in search for wildlife with quality gear. A support boat provides safety. Basic Stand Up Paddle experience is recommended.
Extend your stay on San Cristobal Island with one of the following half day or full day activities - Full day Highlands and Tortoises, Full day Espanola Island, half day hacienda conservation project
DAY 3: ISABELA ISLAND: ISLETS AND COASTAL EXPLORATION.
Half day boat tour to Tintoreras Islets to view the equatorial penguin and a crowd of white tip reef sharks. Snorkeling is included. Half day along the Isabela coastline, exploring
beaches, mangroves and wildlife, as well as, free roaming tortoises.
DAY 3 - ADD ONS:
COASTAL BIKING. An active convenient option for your coastal exploration. Cover more ground and reach more sites including the Wall of Tears, site of Isabela’s history as a penal colony.
STAR GAZING. Great family activity to explore stars and galaxies with views to both the northern and southern hemispheres.
TINTORERAS KAYAKING. A great active alternative to explore Tintoreras in exchange for the boat based tour. Easy kayaking and snorkeling around islets while seeking for penguins, marine turtles, bobbies and iguanas.
TINTORERAS SUP. A great active alternative to explore Tintoreras in exchange for the boat based tour. Snorkeling is included.
Can do a full day tour to Plazas or Bartolome Islands
DAY 4: ISABELA ISLAND: SIERRA NEGRA VOLCANO.
Transfer to the highlands and walk to the rim the world’s second largest active caldera. Witness Galapagos fresh geological history and visit Cuevas de Sucre. Lunch is served in a highland hacienda.
DAY 4 - ADD ONS:
VOLCAN CHICO HIKE. Continue walking another 3 miles (5 kilometers) along the mountain side to Volcan Chico, an area of puffing fumaroles and the best views of the Island.
TORTOISE REARING CENTER. Visit the Isabela Tortoise Rearing center and learn about the process to re-populate these Galapagos species.
PIRATE LEGENDS. Meet a local treasure hunter and pirate expert that will tell you tales of fortune and mischief.
FAMILY SURFING. A surf guide will show you how to surf or improve your style at the local beach break. Great fun for families and kids of all ages.
Extend your stay on Isabela Island with one of the following half day or full day activities - Lava Bridges (6 hours), Tortuga Island (5 hours), full day sun and beach
DAY 5: SANTA CRUZ ISLAND: HIGHLANDS AND TORTOISES.
Explore the highlands of Santa Cruz home of the largest specie of Tortoise. Walk in Lava tunnels and explore other geological and wildlife wonders.
DAY 5 - ADD ONS:
ORGANIC COFFEE EXPERIENCE. Meet a local family farm with a 100% organic coffee production. Tour the plantation, learn about coffee and try the some of the best in Galapagos.
CONSERVATION FARMS. Local family farm dedicated to the production of sugar cane, sugar based products, fruits and small scale coffee production.
RESTAURANT HOPPING DINNER. Savor select dishes as you hop along specialty restaurants in Santa Cruz. Meet the locals and learn the local culture through traditional and fusion Galapagos foods.
DIVINE BAY KAYAKING. Expedition kayaking tour to Divine Bay in search for lava, mangrove and ocean dwellers. Snorkeling is included.
DAY 6: SANTA CRUZ ISLAND: TORTUGA BAY AND RESEARCH CENTER.
Walk to and explore Tortuga Bay, an expansive white sand beach home to a large marine turtle nesting site. Return to port by water taxi. Afternoon visit to Charles Darwin Research Station, Galapagos’ main science and conservation center.
DAY 6 - ADD ONS:
CONFECTIONARY CHOCOLATE. Visit a local workshop dedicated to the creation of organic chocolate products. A hands-on learning experience to try out your artistic abilities.
GOURMET FOODIE DINNER. A local acclaimed chef will create some of the best in Galapagos foods while exploring its history, influence and fusion.
DIVINE BAY SUP. Stand Up Paddle and snorkeling tour to Divine Bay in search for lava, mangrove and ocean dwellers. Basic paddling experience is recommended.
