El Nido del Condor Ecolodge
This is a project designed to contemplate the landscape and nature, disconnect from everyday life, in a unique landscape surrounded by a pair of canyons bathed by two rivers that descend from Los Nevados National Park, with a couple of Andean condors living nearby, to the delight of guests.
The El Nido del  Ecolodge has five safari tents for Glamping, with flexible accommodation for 1 to 4 people. (1 King or 2 King, 2king + 2 twin or 4 twin)  There is a main headquarters where the dining room, kitchen, social bathroom, and reception area are. They are located in the coffee region, in Villamaria, Caldas. On the top of a plateau in the middle of the central mountain range at 2200 meters above sea level with an area of ​​65 hectares (160 acres) surrounded by native forests.

To access the El Nido del Condor Ecolodge you have two options, through their aerial cable on a 10 minutes trip, where you cross the canopy of the forest and over the Molinos river canyon, or hiking on a 45 to 60 minutes trail of 2.7 km.
 
Hotel services:
  • Dining room with two chefs, preparing international food with a Pacific touch.
  • Firepit to share a wine, eat some marshmallows, or see the stars.
  • Trails and paths, they have five (5) with different levels from 20 minutes to 4:30 hours.
  • E-bikes, they have Specialized fsr Turbo Levo bikes that  clients can use inside of the property for free. They can arrange bike tours outside of the hotel for them for an additional price.
  • Wi-Fi in all of the rooms.
 
Each tent is 82 square meters (about 882 square feet) with two covered balconies or terraces, two different spaces, Main room and Living room (secondary room), fireplace, work table, clothes rack, luggage rack, coat rack.

All tents have independent bathrooms with an interior garden and a view over the canyon where the condors live, five star amenities, hot water shower, and sink, full-body mirror, separate space for the toilet.
 
They include in the tents: biodiversity, and cultural books of the region, Binoculars, lounge chairs, two (2) hammocks on each terrace, coffee tables, Other amenities include a kettle with hot water, a French press, coffee, aromatic and tea available to their customers. Wi-Fi signal, Amenities :(hand soap, body soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, bathrobes, face, hand, and body towels)

They are located in the rural area of ​​the municipality of Villamaria, Caldas. 17km by uncovered road from the urban area, on the road that leads to the snowy Santa Isabel and the Laguna del Otun in the  PNN Los Nevados.  Nearby you can find different rivers, waterfalls, hot springs. There is a  community tourism initiative called La Ruta del Condor (Condor Route) - a cultural experience that can be lived most authentically.

 La Nubia Airport (MZL) local airport, transfer 1:15 hours, distance 23 km from the hotel.
Matecaña Airport (PEI) international airport, transfer 2:30 hours,  80km.

GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY.
For your security, cancellations will only be accepted if they are made via email.You can cancel your reservations at any time.
Refunds:
  • Canceling 15 days or more in advance of the entry date - 100% of the deposit paid to account, less bank charges, by the same method used by the client when making the payment. You have the option of re-accommodation within a period of 3 months after the reservation.
  • Canceling 8 days to 14 in advance of the entry date - 80% of the deposit paid to account, less bank charges, by the same method used by the client when making the payment. You have relocation option within 3 months after booking.
  • Canceling less than 7 or less days before the date of your entry will be charged 100% for No Show concept.
  • Once you have checked in, if you want to shorten your stay at the hotel by one or several nights, you will have as penalty for the payment of the first night with the full rate in force for the date. 
  • ​In case of no-show at the hotel on the established day of arrival or of not reporting a total cancellation of your reservation, the charge of 100% of your stay will be taken as a penalty.
  • In cases where refunds are requested by bank transfer, the expenses that may occur will be borne by the customer.
