Departure from Cali towards the seaport of Buenaventura, two and a half hours from Cali. Halfway we will stop to enjoy a delicious portion of pineapple, typical fruit of the region, then we will continue to the town of Zaragoza or Córdoba, where we will take a transport in brujita (carriages on the railway track) 20 minutes approx. through humid forests and feel a pure and refreshing wind in our faces, then you will reach the Nature Reserve with its lush vegetation and waterfalls, toucans, crawdads, sloths,and turtles. Spend the day in the Reserve enjoying walks and swimming in the river. The tour takes around 10 hours and includes lunch and enough time to enjoy the crystal clear waters. Sugarcane Museum Tour + Trapiche Experience Authentic tour to enjoy the sweetness of the Valle del Cauca through its most representative product: Sugar Cane. In the morning we will visit the Sugarcane Museum, where we will get to know the culture, through a tour of landscape areas, showing the great variety of species of flora and fauna identified in this region. Colors, Aromas and Flavors tour One of the riches of the Pacific region is the fertility of its land, excellent for fruit, vegetable, and flower crops. Enjoy the colors, aromas and flavors of Valle del Cauca, with a tour in the main market of the city. Choose a typical recipe from the region, buy the necessary products to prepare and cook your lunch in a culinary school in the company of a Chef specialized in regional cuisine. Adventure, Sun and Culture Tour Tour to Lake Calima, known for having the second strongest winds in the world for water sports, and the heritage town of Guadalajara de Buga, important pilgrimage center for Colombians and international visitors. Pico de Loro Hike The most representative mountain of the cliffs of Cali, loaded with history and nature, it is impressive to ascend to the top and have a excellent view of Cali, the Andean valley of the Cauca River, and the high peaks of the cliffs. You will have an English speaking guide included. Full day Hours: 5:00 am Buenaventura City Tour From Buenaventura we start in the morning with a tour in the Buenaventura Workshop School. This workshop house aims at the recovery of the traditional trades of the Colombian South Pacific, improving conditions of employment of young people in this region, strengthening cultural identity, and the preservation of its roots, allowing to achieve recovery of their cultural identity and strengthening the appropriation of its territory. Then tour the pier and historical explanation from the Malecon. We finish with a tasting of drinks from the Colombian Pacific in the recognized Café Pacifico Restaurant.
