Amazon Trekking
We offer several options for Amazon trekking, based from a choice of 2 lodges in Brazil and one in Peru for individuals and couples.  
  • The Amazonia lodges in Peru requires that you spend the first few nights there to acclimate, then you can trek or canoe for as many days as you want. We have some clients who go for 2-3 weeks
  • the Dolphin lodge in Brazil offers trekking on their survival packages from 6-10 days

We also offer some exciting options in Colombia, but because of logistics, they are more suitable for groups:

From Amazon Eco Lodge 

Day 1 - Afternoon transfer with departure at 13:00 h. Transfer by van or bus from Manaus airport or hotel to Ceasa market port and from there by boat/van/speedboat to the Lodge.Buffet dinner upon arrival.Overnight.

Day 2-4 Breakfast, then we depart for  3 nights camping and trekking with our Native Caboclo Guide , who was born and raised in this unique area and who has learned English on his own , after 10 years of working with the Amazon Lodge. Not only will he show and help build your shelter for the 3 nights out in the rainforest , he will fish with you , go out to observe the monkeys, the birds and you will also have a chance to eat your own fish that you have caught during the day and learn about the local flora and Fauna, the local native medicinal treatments, etc.

Day 5 - return to the lodge. Buffet dinner. Overnight (in beds...ah!)

Day 6 - Breakfast. Morning transfer back to Manaus for arrival at 12.00 h. Drop off either at Hotel or airport.

From Dolphin Lodge

          (longer packages available)

Day 1 - transfer to lodge, as on other packages

Day 2  - Survival tour - Leave the lodge to prepare camp and Overnight in the jungle.

Day 3 - Survival tour (same place) - morning jungle trek,  afternoon canoeing to see birds,  and night fishing with harpoon.

Day 4  - Survival tour (same place) - bird watching and jungle trekking to see medicinal plants with explanations. After lunch visit natives (Caboclo’s),  spend time with them,  have dinner with them see their costumes and way of life.

Day 5 - Survival tour (same place) -special jungle trek to see the insects and Animals.  Afternoon fishing for dinner. (Tucunaré, Peak bass or piranhas or catch fish). Return to Dolphin Lodge.

Day 6  - After breakfast, return to Manaus the same way as on other packages.
