The Dynamic Lowlands are the region of the floodplains, which form 'vegetation islands' that host the perennial nests of Tuiuu and the Hyacinth Macaw, and provide refuge for a plethora of mammals such as Jaguars, Pumas, Tapirs, Giant and Lesser Anteaters, primates, deer, and rodents. Rare birds like the Chestnut-eared Aracari, Boat-billed Heron, and Great Potoo are more frequently seen in this environment. These are destinations to visit year-round, with some variations, and are the tours with the most reasonable prices.

The very comfortable Piuval lodge allows you to experience all the different aspects of the Pantanal. With plenty of mound hills, there are many possibilities for hiking (Where you can see monkeys, caimans, hyacinth macaws, jabiru storks, toucans, rheas, ibis, coatis, capybaras, anteaters, tapirs, and other animals, in addition to a variety of plant life).
The lodge is very comfortable with a swimming pool with waterfall, games room, auditorium and offer 25-45m2 rooms or suites with private facilities, equipped with Air Conditioning (some with also a ceiling fan), verandah and excellent and varied menu in the restaurants with view to the fields. The night safari is done to just the area surrounding the guest's house. In the Wet Season, animals are looking for higher places, and Piuval has plenty of those mound-hills. After the end of the Wet Season, when the land is getting dry, this is the first place to attract the migratory birds in their return to the Pantanal. 512 bird species have been recorded at Piuval on ebird. PANTANAL 3 days / 2 nights
Day 1 Pick-up at the airport and immediate transfer to the traditional town of Poconé with introduction to the geological formation and flora characteristics, then to the lodge, arriving there after a brief safari along the Transpantaneira park-road with many stops to observe its rich fauna. Arrival in time to do the check-in and an afternoon jeep safari through the flooding fields and visiting an ‘island of vegetation’ where many birds nests (Hyacinth Macaws, Jabiru Storks) might be observed. Back to the lodge for a brief time, then we depart again for a night safari – using open vehicles especially equipped with flashlights to spot night behaved animals, such as foxes, deer, puma, jaguar, tapir, etc. Dinner and overnight. Day 2 . In the early morning, we do an overland safari through the Termites mound-hills, trying to see the Giant Anteater. After breakfast, the jeep safari will visit a remote stream with a large concentration of birds (including Hyacinth Macaws in their nests), many caimans and some otters. In the afternoon, we do an overland safari through the fields and forests, in the Jaguar territory, with a good possibility of seeing Americas’ third largest cat. Back to the lodge for a brief time, then we depart again for a night safari – using open vehicles especially equipped with flashlights to spot night behaved animals, such as foxes, deer, puma, jaguar, tapir, etc. Dinner and overnight. Day 3 - In the early morning, we do an overland safari through the Termites mound-hills, trying to see the Giant Anteater. Transfer to Cuiabá, with drop-off at the convenient time. 4 days / 3 nights or 5 days /4 nights
For each extra night at the Dynamic Low, we offer 4 other activities (early morning, morning, afternoon and night). With 1 extra night, we could include a horse ride and with 2 extra nights, a motor boat ride, done at another property. Price per person in US$ for 2026:
