Tierra Chiloe
The hotel is located on the  island of Chiloe, dotted with picturesque fishing villages. The beauty of this destination is as much in the landscape as it is in the island residents with their deep-rooted culture and timeless traditions.
Each of the 24 guest rooms at Tierra Chiloe offers a deep connection to nature. Some interconnect to make family apartments, and there are also two suites to choose from. The design and décor of the rooms are inspired by the regional heritage of Chiloé. Hand-crafted furniture and locally woven fabrics are thoughtfully incorporated into each room, a reflection of our bond with the island. The spotlight is on the surroundings, which are on display through large windows that afford views of the lands and ocean beyond.

​Their cozy Pullao rooms are clad in traditional details from Chiloé Island with wood paneling and warm, inviting tones that complement the overall energy of the lodge. The rooms have large comfortable beds that face wide windows.  Each room offers views overlooking the Pullao Wetlands, which boast a rich array of shorebirds. Enjoy deep-soak bathtubs and hand-knitted slippers made of the softest Chilean wool, which are yours to keep. What’s more, ten of these rooms can connect, creating family apartments that can sleep up to six people.  The interconnecting rooms are perfect for a multi-generational group traveling together.

​The hotel has a team of guides offering a handful of tailored half-day and full day outings. The day trips are scheduled and designed to allow  guests to discover the magic, culture and nature of the archipelago through a different angle each day, by alternating a variety of outings such as cultural trips, boating, horseback riding, biking, trekking and nature observation, providing  guests the opportunity to visit the unique sites. It even has its own vessel named "Williche" for use during maritime outings on the archipelago’s ocean, channels and fjords.

Nightly rate inclusions
  • Accommodation, breakfast, lunch and gourmet dinner.
  • Open bar (includes mineral water, soft drinks, juices, house wines and spirits).
  • Premium wines and spirits are available for an additional cost.
  • Two half day excursions or one full day excursion daily, in small groups with other guests.
  • Use of spa facilities including indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and steam rooms, Jacuzzis (massages, therapies and spa treatments are paid locally).
  • Scheduled airport transfers in shared vehicles. Private transfers or transfers outside of scheduled times are available for an additional cost. 
  • Rates are valid for bookings of up to 4 rooms per night. 

Rate Definitions
  • Extra person rate applies when sharing a room with other guests, on a rollaway bed.
  • *Maximum 1 additional person or child in a Superior room.
  • They welcome children of 10 years or older.
  • Up to 1 rollaway bed can be accommodated in Pullao room only.

  • Please advise any special requirements or allergies, in advance.
  • Minimum age is 10 years old. They welcome children 10-17 years in a rollaway bed, sharing a room with adults.
  • Check in: 3.00 pm / check out: 11.00 am. Services outside of these times are subject to availability.
  • Transfers included in the rate are shared with other guests and at specific times.
  • Make sure to check  transfer service itinerary prior to booking flights.
  • Private transfers are available for an additional cost.
  • Transfers from/to Castro are included in the 2 night minimum rate.


​Reservation Conditions
  • All reservations must be requested in writing and will be confirmed in writing.
  • In order to guarantee a reservation, payment of 30% of the total value of the reservation is required.
  • All reservations will be tentative until the deposit has been received.
  • The payment of the balance of the total value of the reservations must be received at least 30 days prior to arrival of the guests at the hotel.
  • Any reservation which does not meet these requirements may be cancelled without notice by Hotel Tierra Chiloé

​Cancellations: The following are the cancellation fees according to the time limits shown.
  • Cancellations 60 days or more prior to the arrival date: No charge.
  • Cancelations between 59 and 30 days prior to the arrival date: 10% of the total value of the reservation.
  • Cancellations between 29 and 15 days prior to the arrival date: 50% of the total value of the reservation.
  • Cancellations between 14 and 0 days prior to the arrival date: 100% of the total value of the reservation.
