Day 1 Buenos Aires. B D
Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Early check in with breakfast included. In the afternoon, we make a panoramic tour of the city. We start in Plaza de Mayo, witness to the most important events of the country from 1810, to then continue to the neighborhood of La Boca and finish in Palermo and Recoleta. In the evening, we attend a dinner show where we take a tango lesson, learn the basic steps of this rhythm, and then enjoy the magnetism of tango. Day 2 Buenos Aires / Puerto Madryn. B Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Trelew. Arrival and departure towards Puerto Madryn. Once there, afternoon at leisure to explore this maritime city. Day 3 Puerto Madryn. B L Visit to the Valdés Peninsula, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour, we visit Puerto Pirámides, from where we can do optional Southern Right Whalewatching from July to November. We continue to Estancia San Lorenzo where we have lunch, visit a Magellanic penguin colony. Finally arrive at Punta Norte, from where we can see sea lions. Returning to Puerto Madryn, we make a stop at the Interpretation Center. Day 4 Puerto Madryn / Ushuaia. B At the proper time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Ushuaia. Arrival and reception. In the afternoon, we sail the Beagle Channel to admire the Birds and Sea Lions islands, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse and Ushuaia's Bay from the water. Day 5 Ushuaia. B Departure from the city to the Tierra del Fuego National Park to visit Ensenada Bay and Lapataia Bay, the culminating point of National Route 3 and Acigami Lake (Ex Roca Lake), featured by its changed-by-weather water's colour. Afternoon at leisure to continue discovering the destination. If you are a nature lover, we suggest you should visit Martillo Island, one of the few sites where it is possible to walk with Papuan penguins. However, if you prefer landscapes, we recommend you explore the lakes area and experiment the adrenaline in a 4x4 excursion. Check the available options according to your trip date. Day 6 Ushuaia / El Calafate. B At the proper time, transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to El Calafate. Arrival and reception at the airport and transfer to hotel . Day 7 El Calafate. B Visit the Perito Moreno Glacier, within Los Glaciares National Park, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. During the tour, a stroll along the walkways located in front of the glacier provides views from different perspectives. The visit is enhanced by a 1-hour boat ride that helps to acquire a better dimension of the height of its peaks. Free time for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Day 8 El Calafate / Buenos Aires. B Time at leisure until the hour of the transfer to the airport. We suggest a boat trip through the Argentino Lake, to discover some other of the glaciers of the National Park or a visit to Estancia Cristina. Transfer to hotel after arrival in Buenos Aires Day 9 Buenos Aires/ Salta. B Transfer to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Salta. Arrival, reception and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon, we explore Salta and the High Mountain Archaeology Museum (MAAM). Day 10 Salta. B Today we go on a tour to the Province of Jujuy, to get surprised by the magnificence of the Humahuaca Gorge, Cultural and Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. Total travelled distance: 520 km. (323 miles) Time travelled 12 hours Max. Altitude: 3.000 MASL (9,843 ft.) Day 11 Salta / Cafayate. B Departure from Salta through slopes and ravines to the Calchaquíes Valleys. We visit Cachi, Route 40, and De Las Flechas Gorge, to finally reach Cafayate and visit the Vine and Wine Museum. Accommodation. Total travelled distance: 329 km (204 miles) Time travelled: 12 hours Max. Altitude: 3.457 MASL (11.062 ft.) Day 12 Cafayate / Salta/ Puerto Iguazú. B In the morning, we depart to Salta, visiting the Cafayate Gorge, with its strange stone formations. Arrival at the airport and departure to Puerto Iguazú. Arrival and reception. Total travelled distance: 198 km (123 miles) Time travelled 5 hours Max. Altitude: 1.660 MASL (120 ft.) Day 13 Puerto Iguazú. B In the morning, we get to Iguazú National Park to visit the falls on the Argentinian Side, declared a Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO and one of the Seven Modern Wonders of Nature. During the tour, we go through the three circuits of the Park: Garganta Del Diablo, The Upper and The Lower Trails. Seize the chance to take The Great Adventure (optional). This boat ride takes you into the very heart of the falls followed by a walk through the jungle. Get ready to get soaked! In the afternoon, return to the hotel. Day 14 Puerto Iguazú/ Buenos Aires. B In the morning, we visit the falls on the Brazilian side to appreciate a different view of them. At due time, transfer to the airport to board the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival and reception and transfer to hotel. Day 15 Buenos Aires. B At due time, transfer to the airport Operational notes:
