Day 1 - Flight from Bogota to Inirida on VE9014, which departs at 11:55 and arrives at 13:26 Please be aware this airline allows 15kg in their rates and you must pay extra luggage directly at the airport - the overweight is about 3 USD per kilo (estimated price - this must be quoted under request)
Arrival to Inírida, Lunch. We will embark with destiny to the hills of Mavecure, Bird and Monkey belonging to the Indigenous Resguardos of Remanso and Venado. Welcome to the community of Venado. Walk to the base slab of Cerro Diablo to see the gallery forests. Dinner. Accommodation in simple indigenous cabin in the community of Venado. Night in accommodation in double room including all meals - MORU Natural Reserve MORU Natural Reserve is in 500 hectares of flooded forest, whose main objective is to promote a culture favorable to the sustained production of water, timber products, wildlife, scenarios for the breeding of wild species, and tourism, with the conservation of nature oriented primarily to the support of economic activities. Day 2 - After breakfast we will embark to Mavecure, Pájaro and Mono (tepuy) hills. Ascent to the tepuy to recognize the landscapes of the Guiana Shield. Lunch; in the afternoon bath in Caño San Joaquín. Transfer to the resguardo Indígena Almidón community of La Ceiba - of the Puinave, Curripaco and Tucano ethnic groups. We will enter Caiman stream to access the Redonda, Casabe and Clara lagoons. On our return to the community, we will paddle following the current of the river, having contact with toninas (freshwater dolphins) and avifauna typical of these water systems. Dinner and lodging in a simple indigenous cabin in the Ceiba Community. Night in accommodation in double room including all meals - MORU Natural Reserve Day 3 - Breakfast. In the Community of La Ceiba, sustainable productive initiatives are being developed and environmental services are being strengthened to make the Honey Route known as a promising species of great importance for sustainability. Transfer to the source of the Great Orinoco River; we will recognize the fluvial star of Inírida, and the tributaries Inírida, Guaviare, Atabapo and Orinoco. We will pass through the Amanaven inspection in the department of Vichada. On the way we will enjoy bathing in the waters of the Atabapo River in the Piedra de Maviso border area with the sister Republic of Venezuela to finally arrive at the MORU Natural Reserve, lunch. In the afternoon. Option 1. We will enter the forests of matavén to ascend to the canopy in Rappel activity (high ropes) until arriving at a first platform in the top of the trees (canopy) where we will begin our journey crossing bridges at 15 meters high, in a journey of 160 meters through the forest of the Amazon northeast. Option 2. Rowing activity by Caño Jota to watch fauna and flora. Accommodation in MORU, Area of Resources Under Management. Dinner and lodging in multiple accommodation cabin. Night in accommodation in double room including all meals - MORU Natural Reserve Day 4 - Breakfast, hike in the Natural Reserve MORU, to recognize the forests of Mataven jungle in the department of Vichada. 2020 price per person in US$: $825 per person, double occupancy without flights. Estimated price with flights is $1085 per person.
