Hills of Mavecure Adventure
|
The three Tepuis, made of granite rock, stand out from Inirida's large jungle plain, imposing their presence in the Colombian jungle vastness. These are the Mavecure Hills: the Mono, the Pajarito, and the Mavecure. To reach them, we navigate along the River Inirida, in the jungle. To reach their summits is feeling closer to heaven, it is the view to immensity. During this trip we will interact with indigenous communities of the Puinabes and Curripacos´families. We will spend some nights sharing and learning about their traditions. Close to this area it is located the spot where you can observe the meeting of the rivers Orinoco, Atabapo, Inírida, and Guaviare.
