It is great to combine with an itinerary that includes the southern Lake District in Chile or you can also combine it with an itinerary to Argentina because it is only 2-2.5 hours from San Martin and from there you can continue to Bariloche.
The Vira Vira Hotel brings a new concept of vacation to life – they call it “The Elegance of Adventure” which means that a large range of exclusive activities and excursions are part of your “all inclusive” stay with the Hotel. Every day you will meet with the excursion manager to discuss and set your next day activities. Some of the favorite activities include horse trekking in the Cordilleras, hiking in one of the many surrounding Natural Parks,skiing in winter or simply to spend a leisurely day sailing on the Lake Villarrica.
Set in a marvelous native park and surrounded by stunning Volcano’s (some active and some asleep) and right along the shores of the peaceful Liucura river. Pucón simply offers the best in adventure – Guests can enjoy myriad exploits, hosted by knowledgeable and engaging guides, including trekking in the national parks; horseback riding in the cordilleras; scenic helicopter flights over the Villarrica Volcano; skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or snowmobiling in winter. The list is seemingly endless with fly fishing, mountain biking, and a variety of water sports. All excursions are specifically tailored according to your interests and fitness levels.
Ideally appointed accommodation, overlooking either the estate surrounds or the Liucura River, includes six cozy suites, 12 split-level villas with a separate living room, and a five-bedroom, sole-use Hacienda for up to 10 guests. Ensuite bathrooms include a separate bath and walk-in shower. Floor to ceiling windows fills the spacious wooden interiors with natural light.

Intimate yet spacious, six suites at Vira Vira have been individually decorated with curated objects and authentic materials. Inviting bedrooms feature large ensuite bathrooms and all suites offer stunning views of the lagoon and park, or the Liucura River. Inviting the light inside, panoramic windows allow for stunning views and split-level design provides a sense of being immersed in nature. Guests can enjoy the exclusivity of a five-bedroom sole-use Hacienda that is ideal for multigenerational travel. The Hacienda is stunningly decorated with local artwork, textiles and unique furniture, and features one master bedroom with a private outdoor hot tub, and four bedrooms, three with ensuite bathrooms. Previously the owner’s residence, the Hacienda offers a spacious living and dining room, a family room on the second floor, a pretty garden terrace, and a covered balcony with veranda that boasts magnificent views. |
