Hotel Rio Serrano is the largest property within the Torres del Paine region providing availability for even last minute bookings. It has the largest spa in Southern Patagonia with 8600 sq ft of facilities which include a large swimming pool with built-in jacuzzis and two massage rooms - Feng Shui inspired with native cultural influence. They have their own horse stable next with their own horses and gauchos and they have their own vehicles that are used for transfers and all inclusive programs. They offer all inclusive and full board rates giving travelers flexibility.

Río Serrano hotel + Spa is immersed in the midst of the lush Patagonian nature, right on the edge of the Torres del Paine Park, at the foot of the Maciso Paine and on the banks of the Serrano River. The Spa is a building of 3 levels and 800 sq. meters, which has its own reception. It also has a 20 meter long heated pool, gym, massage rooms, sauna rooms, dressing rooms and showers. It is identified with the Aonikenk and Kawescar culture which with a magnificent view of the Paine Massif achieve a unique experience.

ExcursionsAonikenk Route (1/2 day hiking)
An incredible opportunity to closely appreciate the local fauna (families of guanacos) and the Paine massif sector by Monte Almirante Nieto on the east side of the park. The most interesting point of this walk, you will see the paintings of the natives that inhabited this area that adds an anthropological character to this activity. Hidden lagoon (1/2 day hiking) This very complete trekking, has mixed points of interest, since you have the advantage of observing the Paine massif from the south-west side, obtaining a spectacular panoramic view of the Paine Grande and the Horns on the opposite side, highlighting at all times, the difference of the types of sedimentary and granitic rocks in the massif. Sarmiento Lake (1/2 day hiking) We will visit areas of pre-Andean scrubland, where we will appreciate groups of guanacos, typical animals of the Patagonian fauna. Then, we will reach our goal, Lake Sarmiento, of an intense blue color and calcium carbonate formations along its entire coastline, rocks of particular and beautiful appearance unique for its formation and composition within the park. Grey Beach (1/2 day hiking) The shores of Grey Lake are the background scenario for this simple but beautiful hike, where the icebergs coming from Grey Glacier will delight us with the strong blue that characterizes them. The Nothofagus forest and some birds characteristic of this environment, such as the Magellanic carpenter, are present to the delight of our eyes. Cuernos viewpoint (1/2 day hiking) Perfect option to enjoy the central area of the park, ideal to appreciate the Paine Grande mountain that dominates the massif with its 3050 masl, the always peculiar Horns, the Valley and Glacier of the French and 2 of the lakes of greater beauty and size - Nordenskjold and Pehoe, which are separated by one of the park's must-see waterfalls, the Salto Grande. Monte Ferrier Viewpoint (1/2 day hiking) An unforgettable alternative for trekking lovers. The path winds through abundant vegetation and as we climb, a landscape full of lakes, ice and mountains opens before our eyes, until we reach a point where several lakes of the Park, Pingo, Grey and Paine Massifs are fully identifiable . Trekking "Base the towers (full day hike) The most iconic activity in the whole park. We will go through the Ascencio Valley, in honor of the renowned bandit of Patagonia at the beginning of the last century. Centennial forests of lengas will lead us to the base of the front moraine left by the old Torres Glacier, where we will ascend to reach the imposing Torres del Paine and its lagoon at the foot of these. Horseback riding "Río Nutría" (1/2 day with 1-2 hours on horse) Patagonia is a land of gauchos and horses, the best way to connect with this beautiful practice. The Serrano River offers us the perfect scenario. We will reach its confluence with the Grey River, whose different colors, both of glacial origin and the magnitude of the Paine massif, will not cease to surprise us. We will cross the Otter river, riding into the typical Nothofagus forests "Full day Paine" by vehicle An excellent alternative to know much of the park. Lakes, rivers and waterfalls of beautiful colors, the majesty of the Paine massif, in addition to the flora and fauna of Patagonia are the postcards that will accompany us throughout our trip to end in Laguna Azul, where we will have lunch with a privileged view, if the weather permitting, from the famous Torres del Paine. "Condor Viewpoint" by vehicle One of the most privileged views of the park is the one we have at this point. We will observe everything that surrounds the Paine massif, its lakes, rivers, flora and fauna, as well as the intense color of Lake Pehoé. If luck accompanies us, we will see the immense condor either flying over us or perched on a rock wall near the path. |
