It is located in a privileged area, not only because of the beauty of the landscape, but also because they have a large amount of dolphins in front of the hotel (Grey and Pink), as well as birds, monkeys, caimans and other animals of the Amazon rainforest.. You can watch the dolphins from within the Hotel restaurant. Behind the hotel they have a site with fruit and medicinal trees such as Castanheira, Andirobeira, Rubber Tree, Rosewood, Acai, Cupuacu, etc. The Samaúma is the biggest tree in the Amazon region, and there is one close to the Dolphin Lodge. "The trip went wonderfully. All pieces were smooth. Mo was a wonderful guide. From my end, and I believe that of other Americans traveling at the time, we had no complaints. Food & accommodations were basic, but clean & comfortable. Mo and his staff were personable and friendly. The excursions covered all I wanted to in my time in the Amazon. I have no reservations recommending Dolphin Lodge in future clients and want to thank you for helping set everything up." Trent "it was awesome. The guide, Moe, was simply a great host. He seemed to know everything about the nature around us and was always really nice. My 3 daughters (9, 14, 16) completely loved it. Finally the food was really good and a lot of local stuff, which we appreciated." Jean-Pierre "Our trip was awesome! We had a very good time at the Dolphin Lodge. Mazinho (I hope a spell his name correctly) was a great guide. We enjoyed our stay there a lot. Besides, we highly appreciated the service and the food there, which was really the best we had during our entire time in Brazil. So thanks again for your help with the organization. Best wishes" Simon "Yes everything worked out as planned ! The Amazon experience was fantastic however the lodge was very basic but that didn't ruin our stay. The guide was great !" Alfons "I am glad to report that the trip exceded my expectations. It was well organized and I felt safe all the time I was in Brazil. The guides were very nice people, all of them. I have to say I had the best time at the Dolphin Lodge. The experience there is very authentic and Mocinho really went out of his way to show me what the jungle has to offer. It was amazing." Gabriela "Our trip to Manaus and the dolphin lodge was really great! Everything went fine , our guide Mo did a perfect job!!!! We all enjoyed this trip! Thank you for the perfect organization !" Katja "The transportation, food, cleaning and cooking staff, service, punctuality of the dinners and tours (Mo is ex-military and it shows with his organizational skills), accommodations, hikes, activities, tours, drinks, drink prices, layout and of course Mo and his guides were great. We will definitely be going back in the future during the rainy season to see the difference." George "Thank you for checking...our trip was spectacular! Tour operators both in Rio an Iguassu were very friendly, always on time. We were especially impressed with the Amazon portion of the trip. Mo, the owner of the Dolphin Lodge, was our everyday guide as well. Can't praise enough!!...so knowledgeable about the wildlife in the area. The staff at the lodge is very friendly and accommodating, highly recommend! Overall, amazing trip! Thank you for arranging, hope to work with you in the future!" Larisa |
