Day 1 : Llanos
Upon arrival at Barinas airport you are greeted by your guide for a private 3 hour Ground Transfer to Hato Cedral. After a refreshing welcome drink you will drop your luggage in your room and enjoy the wildlife around the property or swim in the pool. After lunch prepare for an afternoon Safari (B,L,D) Day 2 & 3 : Llanos This is a magical and mega wildlife spot in Venezuela. We will see hundreds of Capybaras, deer, Spectacled Cayman and the Giant Anaconda, as well as Black-bellied and White-faced Whistling Ducks by the hundreds, 7 species of ibis, 3 species of storks, including the Jabiru, as well as such special birds as the Chestnut-bellied Heron, Sun bittern, Hoatzin, Pinnated Bittern, Wire-tailed Manakin, Great Potoo, Black-collared Hawk, Amazonian Black-Tyrant, Yellowish Pipit, to name just a few. Each station (rainy and dry season) offer a complete different scenery. On the rainy days all is green and flooded, and the Herons and Corocoras are nesting. While during the dry season it is the best time to see anacondas and alligators as the fauna concentrates in the Caños and lagoons. Every day you will enjoy 2 day excursions and after dinner, a nocturnal excursion (B,L,D) Day 4 : Caracas Ground Transfer to Barinas to take flight to Caracas . You must have a visa to enter Venezuela. The Venezuelan embassy and consulates in the United States are not open for visa processing. Visas are not available upon arrival. So it is very difficult for U.S. citizens to go. Immigration officials often require proof of accommodation while in Venezuela, adequate means of support, and an onward departure itinerary.
