A 5 day adventure in the Pati Valley
The 3 full days trekking in the Valley is more intense, with higher level of physical effort than the crossing of 4 or 5 days and for that reason, it is indicated for people with experience in adventure tourism and are in very good shape.

1st Day: Salvador/Lençois
7am Driver guide transfer from hotel to bus station Salvador. Regular bus to Lencois. Arrival by 2/2:30pm. Meet local assistance and transfer to your pousada. Have the explanations about the itinerary for the next days. Free time. 2nd Day: Pati Valley: Gerais do Vieira / Pati Belvedere 7:30AM: We leave the pousada on a car ride to the beginning of the trail. We pass through the altitude fields of the Gerais of Preto River, and Pati Valey belvedere, until we reach the house where we will have our overnight stay. We will have several stretches of ascent and descent, we will cross the Preto river and see beautiful landscapes along the 12 km of pure adrenaline! OV/B/L/D Physical effort: Start at 7:30 /trekking distance 12 km/ Car ride 160 km / stop for swimming / level- difficult. 3rd Day: Pati Valey: Castelo Hill / Funis Waterfall (15km walking) 8:00AM: We leave in the morning, towards the trail of Castelo hill and a cave on the top of one of the highest hills in the park, 1600 meters high! (this trail will happen according to the energy of the group). Time for having ou lunch box. Then, going on the trail to the Funis River, passing by several waterfalls until get on the Funil Waterfall. Time for swimming, and, at the end of the day, we arrive at Dona Leia’s house, another local that will accommodate us. Overnight. OV/B/L/D Physical effort: Start at 8:00/Trekking distance 15 km/stop for swimming/ level- difficult. 4th Day: Pati Valey: Cachoeirao Waterfall 7AM: After breakfast, we continue our expedition, and it will be a challenging day! leave towards Cachoeirao Valley. Our trekking begins to the higher view of the Cachoeirao waterfall, 280m with several falls. Stop for lunch box and swimming. OV/B/L Physical effort: Start at 7:00 / trekking distance 16 km/stop for swimming / level – difficult. 5th Day: Transfer Lençois to Salvador 09:30AM Transfer to the Lençóis bus station. 09:45 Trip by regular bus to Salvador to arrive around 6pm. Upon arrival, driver will be waiting on the bus station to take you either to local pousada or airport. B |
