Located in Futangue Park, a preserved area of 13,500 hectares in the Lake District of Chilean Patagonia, this charming lodge opened in 2019. Surrounded by an amazingly biodiverse network of over 100 kilometers of hiking trails, Futangue Hotel & Spa blends stylish architecture and cozy design, with lots of native wood and traditional colorful fabric used by the local Mapuche people. It is the perfect place for active adventures and also for enjoying great wine and local food and recharging at their luxurious spa.

The park is a nature reserve located at the foot of the Andes Mountains, on the shores of Lake Ranco, one of the largest and most beautiful in Chile, and next to the Puyehue National Park, with its spectacular volcanic landscapes. This area is also recognized for having some of the best preserved specimens of the Valdivian Forest, one of the most important centers of biodiversity on the planet. The park contains around 70% of the flora of the temperate forests of South America. Most of it corresponds to Selva Valdiviana, considered among the 34 centers of biodiversity worldwide, due to its high degree of endemism and vulnerability.
Futangue Hotel & Spa is located in the meadows near Ranco Lake. Its architecture highlights native woods and is complemented by the natural environment, assimilating the classic styles of southern Chile. The decoration uses ethnic fabrics, colorful textiles inspired by national artists and objects from the Mapuche culture. Local traditions and the natural heritage of the area are reflected in every corner and detail. The main hotel has 16 spacious and warm rooms.
Just 120 meters from the hotel, there is Casa Exploradores, with 10 rooms, where you can enjoy the same services and exclusivity of the hotel, in a more private way. Both properties share the Restaurant Mesón del Caulle, located inside the hotel, in addition to the Spa facilities. SUPERIOR ROOM
The Superior Rooms are 26 m2, have rustic furniture and leathers, as well as exclusive noble wood coverings and incredible views of large hills and gardens. SUITE ROOM The Suites are 35 m2 and have large spaces and various amenities that will make your stay more special. They have a small living room and beautiful views of the park. EXPLORERS ROOM The Explorers Rooms are 25 m2, they are characterized by being warm and welcoming spaces, they have large windows with views towards the garden and a native wood floor. All of the rooms have bathrooms with organic amenities made from berries and flowers of the native forest. The forests of the Valdivian Forest offer a wide range of gastronomic elements to prepare wonderful recipes that - nowhere else in the world - will you find. They highlight the flavors of arrayán - a tree present in the southern part of the country - and the typical berries of the area, such as murta and maqui. Also wild mushrooms, native potatoes and vegetables from their greenhouse. They also stock up on the tasty and particular seafood of the Valdivia coast. They are proud to rely on buying from the artisans of the Lake Ranco basin and producing a large part of the food they prepare, from homemade ice creams to artisan liqueurs, making the cuisine an adventure in itself.
The 450 m² Spa surrounded by mountains and picturesque rural landscapes. Its architecture highlights the warmth of native wood and volcanic stone, representing the natural heritage and identity of Parque Futangue. They have a heated indoor pool with outdoor access. Take a sauna while viewing spectacular waterfalls. Recharge your batteries after a long day of excursions with a selection of therapies based on local fruits and oils, or swim in the semi-Olympic outdoor pool to enjoy during the summer.
