Evolução Ecolodge has a nice location, good services (the staff came mainly from Ariau Lodge), good new chalets and nice tours. Their guides are excellent (experts in biology, geography and regional anthropology). I would say this lodge is an alternative lodge for those who don´t want to pay as much as Juma Lodge and Anavilhanas Lodge. This is also an alternative to Amazon EcoPark - you feel you are more inside the forest. It has 22 chalets, as well as a swimming pool).

Day 01 - 08:00am Departure from hotel in Manaus until the píer of THM boarding at 09:00am in speed boat (01:20 h) direct to the Evolução Ecolodge, well come drink and check in 12:00pm - Lunch will be served 03:00pm - We'll start our excursions by canoe visiting Igapó (flooded jungle), Fishing piranha, 19:00pm - Dinner and night free Day 02 - 07:00am - Breakfast 08:00am - Jungle walking and Caboclo's house. We also learn about the preparation of manioc flour. 12:00pm - Lunch 03:00pm - Visit the Acajatuba Village (who live from manioc plantations, fishing, diverse fruit like tucumã, cupuaçu, and açai palm tree, rubber, Brazil-nut trees.) we also learn how they produce crafts with natural seed's jungle. 19:00pm - Farewell dinner 20:00pm - we will explore the river`s edge with searchlights and we see caiman's Tinga and Açú, sometimes including night-hawks, snakes and frogs. Surrounded by the Rio Negro, near Acajatuba, this lodge is located 69 km from Manaus, approximately 01 hours and 30 minutes out by car from Manaus and another 25 minutes using a speedboat.
Their accommodations are in 22 superior cottages (6 with River view and 16 with jungle view) that can accommodate up to 3 people, with functional and fully comfortable infra-structure - 1 queen or 1 queen and 1 single bed or 1 or 2 twins with air conditioning, electric shower, small fridge, safe, balcony and veranda with hammocks. They also have a play area, bar, floating pier, reception, hammocks, restaurant, games room, reading room, lounge for events, camping area in the jungle and Wi-Fi in all area of the lodge.

Seasonal differences - the longest period of low tide occurs from August to December, ideal season beyond the ecotourism for sport fishing. The biggest flood period is from March to July that is throughout the year is ideal for visiting the Amazon! Changes in Routing - We reserve the right to change itineraries without consulting or warning participants of the tour, depending on the natural conditions prevailing at the time, such as weather conditions or river water level. What to bring -clothing or bathing suit and sandals, as tennis, shoes or hiking Boots. Bring a daypack (small backpack) to all side trips including; Hat, sun block, sun glasses, light rain coat, insect repellent, binocular and camera in a waterproof bag.
