Sacred Valley Adventure
Located in the Sacred Valley of Cuzco, Peru, the exclusive Skylodge Adventure Suites offers you the chance to sleep within a completely transparent hanging bedroom; that allows you to appreciate the impressive view of the Sacred Valley by night surrounded by the Milky Way.  Each module has four beds, dining area and private bathroom, made of aerospace aluminum and high resistance polycarbonate. Each module measures 24 ft. in length and 8 ft. in height and width. Once inside the module one can remove the harness as the only way to leave is through the portal located in the upper part of the craft. There are six windows and four ventilation ducts that ensure a comfortable atmosphere.

To sleep at Skylodge, people must climb 400 mt. of Via Ferrata or hike an intrepid trail through ziplines. One night at this place will make your dreams come true. Packages includes breakfast gourmet dinner with wine, transportation from Cuzco and  professional bilingual guides.

The  Skylodge is composed of three exclusive capsule Suites with a total capacity of 12 people in the entire lodge, 4 people per suite maximum.. The vertically hanging transparent capsule suites are situated at the top of our 1200 ft mountain with a 300 degree view of the majestic Sacred Valley. Hand crafted out of aerospace aluminum and weather resistant polycarbonate, each suite comes complete with four beds, a dinning area and a private bathroom .
Measuring 24 ft. in length and 8 ft. in height and width, the capsule suites are composed of six windows and four ventilation ducts that ensure a comfortable atmosphere. Safety is insured by having the exit portal located in the upper part of the craft.

​The design and features of each suite provides clients with first class service and complete comfort. The alternative lighting system consists of four interior lamps and a reading light all powered by solar panels that store energy in batteries. Each suite has a private bathroom separated from the bedroom by an insulated wall. Inside is a dry ecological toilet and sink, where you can still enjoy the gorgeous views through the 1.8 meter diameter dome. The dome also has curtains for privacy from the curious gaze of passing condors (your sky neighbors). Fine quality mattresses, cotton sheets, down pillows, and quilts ensure a warm and pleasant night 400 meters from the ground.

A via ferrata is a path used to climb a mountain with a safety system permanently installed. It gives the chance to people without any experience in climbing, the opportunity to move through spectacular mountain scenery using a minimum of equipment.
The climber is permanently tied to a steel cable that runs through the entire route. Usually does not require any climbing rope. Metal ladders, bridges and similar facilities are used. This helps maintain the physical difficulty of climbing and mix beginners skills while providing access to a very high, and extreme vertical sections of a mountain, that could only be accessible to experienced rock climbers.
  • Who can climb a via ferrata? Anyone who is in good health and physical condition is able to climb the via ferrata. The minimum age to climb the Sacred Valley via ferrata is 9 years old. Without exception, the via ferrata climbers must always be accompanied by a guide.
  • What kind of equipement is used? A standard climbing harness, helmet, gloves and a via ferrata lanyard, (double system with strength dissipater especially designed for via ferrata climbers). All the equipement is certified CE. These elements will be provided by operator.
  • Security at the via ferrata  The equipment used allows the person to remain tied to a “life line”, in this case a steel cable. Through the via ferrata lanyard the person can go up securing himself with the carabineers. If a fall occurs, the person will remain tide to the “life line” without any risk. All the guides are mountain guides trained in vertical rescue and ropes.
  • What you need to bring? Use light clothing and good shoes (tennis, light hiking boots, etc.. No sandals). Note that as you go upper the weather will be colder and windy, you can carry extra clothing in a small backpack. Bring at least 1 lt. of water. You can bring your empty bottle and refilled with purified water we will have for you at our base.
  • Via Ferrata duration  Arrival, equipment and safety talk will take 30 minutes. The ascent and descent of the route will last between 3-4 hours in accordance with the pace of the group.

The Sacred Valley zip-line gives people of all ages the opportunity to fly over this magical and magnificent valley, in a safe and fun way. The zip line has 7 lines or cables, from 150mt to 700mt, for a total of 2800mt. Starting with 30-40 minutes hike, easy and via ferrata equipped for more safety will take you to the first line. You will have a small via ferrata climbing (4 meters) so you can have a perfect idea on what is to climb a ferrata route. Each line is different from the other, you will start with an easy and short one and the circuit will allowed you to upgrade your zipline expertise. Check the combination tour via ferrata & zipline here.
  • What is a zip-line or canopy? A zip-line (also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway) consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley.
  • Who can try the zip line?The minimum age for the Sacred Valley Zip-Line is 6 years old. They reserve the right to admission to determine whether people are suitable for the zip line or not.
  • What kind of equipment is used? A pelvic harness, helmet, gloves and a zip-line kit, (pulley, 3 carabiners, and lanyard) and via ferrata lanyard. All  equipment is certified CE and it is specially made for this activity.
  • Zip-Line Security : All paths between lines are equipped with via ferrata system. The lines were extended, in a way, that people do not need any break system. The person loses velocity when she or he is getting closer to the end of the line. All guides are trained periodically in vertical rope rescue and First Aid.
  • What you need to bring? Use light clothing and comfortable shoes (tennis, light hiking boots, etc.. No sandals). Use pants rather than shorts. Note that as you go higher the weather will be colder and windy, you can carry extra clothing in a small backpack. Bring at least 1 lt. of water. You can bring your empty bottle, they do have purified water at their base so you can refill it at the beginning and at the end of the activity.
  • Zip Line Duration: 30 minutes hike to get to the first line, and 3 to 4 hours zip-linning depending on the size group. You will need to add the transportation times, depending on your location (Cusco city one hour or Sacred valley 30 minutes).
