Day 1 Trelew / Puerto Madryn. Arrival and pick up of the rented vehicle. Start your journey to the city of Puerto Madryn. If you want to visit a penguin colony, we recommend you to go to El Pedral in Punta Ninfas, one of the least visited penguin colonies and declared a Natural Wildlife Refuge. Walk its trails and then enjoy a typical Patagonian lamb. (total distance: 176 km, 136 of it on gravel roads - 4 hours) Day 2 Puerto Madryn / Puerto Pirámides. B Enjoy the Valdés Peninsula, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its geography, flora and fauna, characteristics that make it a paradise of nature Spend the day getting to know the Southern Peninsula by visiting Puerto, Caleta Valdés and Punta Cantor. If you travel from September to the beginning of December, do not miss the opportunity to optionally embark on a whale-watching trip. (total distance: 170 km, 70 of it on gravel roads - 3-4 hours) Day 3 Puerto Pirámides / Puerto Madryn. B Take the northbound coastal Route Provincial 3 to reach Punta Norte, where Estancia San Lorenzo is located. Its most important attraction is the colony of Magellanic Penguins, the only one in the peninsula. (total distance: 263 km, 163 of it on gravel roads - 6 hours) Day 4 Puerto Madryn / Trelew. B If your departure flight allows you, we suggest you visit the Chubut River Valley, visiting towns such as Dolavon, Gaiman, Rawson and Trelew with its museum. Drop off in Trelew. (total distance: 180 km - 3 hours) Suggested Season Mid-September to March Operational note: Day 1: We suggest arriving in an early flight, in order to visit Punta Ninfas. To keep in mind: - Access to Peninsula Valdés may be affected on rainy days. - The program includes rented car and accommodation according to itinerary. Extra activities, tickets and assistance need to be required. - The days of car rental could change according to the time of return of the vehicle. Want to see more wildlife? B D Departure to Estancia La Antonieta, founded as a livestock establishment specialized in sheep breeding and dedicated to the preservation of the natural resources of the area. Nowadays its owners continue with the family tradition of taking care of the social, cultural and tourist welfare of the community. Day 4 Dos Pozos. B D Visit the Sea Elephant Reserve at Dos Pozos. During the high season (September to November) you can see the reproductive harems of the species and meet the alpha male. Day 5 Dos Pozos. / Bahía Bustamante. B D In the morning, departure to Bahía Bustamante. This is a country house on the seashore surrounded by 360° of pure nature, located in Patagonia, in an area known for its relevant biological biodiversity. Day 6 & 7 Bahía Bustamante. B L D Days to enjoy the included activities, which do not require significant physical effort. Activities offered:
