The idea of luxury travel has been evolving through the years. Sure it can involve upscale accommodations and/or exclusive experiences, but there are various combinations that are available.
For some, a luxury trip might just mean staying at a 5* hotel part of the time, but cutting back elsewhere in order to afford that bit of indulgence.
