Magic Galapagos is situated amidst a giant tortoise sanctuary, allowing travelers to experience one of the Islands’ most iconic species right outside of their tents. This exclusive retreat is only 30 minutes’ drive from all of the other properties in Puerto Ayora, Galapagos Islands’ largest settlement, and all of the famous water attractions are easily accessible. While at Magic Galapagos, guests can walk the peaceful grounds, observe resident wildlife, explore the onsite lava tubes, find a cozy spot to read, or simply enjoy the gorgeous views.
Tent sites were chosen to ensure the most expansive views of the highlands and the turquoise waters, as well as to capture the cooling breeze. Common areas are thoughtfully appointed with cozy nooks, comfortable furniture, and a roaring fire for cool evenings. Sumptuous three-course gourmet meals are served under twilit skies in the main dining area after active Galapagos days, and guests can finish the evening with a candlelit nightcap in one of the property’s lava tubes or on their stargazing meadow deck.
