When the worst of this pandemic is over and people start traveling internationally again, they will want to make sure that they can do it safely. Besides thinking about airports and airplanes, they should probably also consider some things about the destinations that they are traveling to. So here are some things that they might consider:
When a person arrives at the airport in the foreign country, are they going to let a local baggage handler wheel their luggage to a taxi and have the taxi driver load it? Do you think that baggage handler is going to disinfect his hands after handling each passenger's luggage and you think the taxi driver is going to do the same, as well as cleaning the taxi after each individual/group leaves it? Do you think their bosses are going to hold them accountable if they don't?
I think it will be safer to use a private greeter and/or driver who is affiliated with the accommodation or local company that is going to handle your other arrangements.

And rather than looking for the cheapest place to stay or the cheapest price for a tour, a person might consider that in order to offer the cheapest prices, the provider might be cutting corners in order to keep the price low. Maybe they are not going to spend the money to make sure things are virus free and to ensure that their employees are healthy and are following proper safety protocols.
Anyway, just wondering if people will change their ideas about how they will vacation in the future.
- If they do happen to get sick in another country, will a budget hotel or service provider go the extra mile to help them out?
- And will they feel safe on a group tour bus with 40 other people from who knows where, or will they feel safer on a private tour so that they can have less contact and more social distancing.
- Are they going to want to stay in a big hotel with elevators and a big restaurant, or do you think it might be safer to stay in a smaller place, maybe even with individual cabins or bungalows?
- are they going to want to be on a big cruise ship, with 1,000-5,000 people getting off at every port to visit the same sites or will they feel better being out in nature or visiting smaller, authentic villages and communities?
Anyway, just wondering if people will change their ideas about how they will vacation in the future.
